I was wondering if Ford will make a 2door BS. It will resemble the original bronco, maybe put a removable hardtop on it and 1.5L turbo should be enough for it but yeah 2.0L for upgrade works too.
Maybe put a manual transmission option, we don’t have to worry about the goat modes anymore and weird rpm programmings, just old school pedal+stick driving galore :) yehey!

Folks in Europe on the Escape forum post owning a Kuga diesel with a stick. That would be fun.

No sense in Ford bringing it over for the three of us that would buy it. ?

I had a 2011 VW JSW TDI with a stick before my '14 Escape. Fun car. Dieselgate vehicle. ?

A vehicle like this would compete directly with the full-sized, two-door Bronco. Most auto manufacturers are cutting back on the number of vehicle options, so even though I think what you seek would be a lot of fun, I'm not very hopeful we'll ever see one. Perhaps in another market where fuel economy is a higher priority...

Plus, as much as I love my manual, they’d have to source it from someone else. The one in the full size has had lots of issues. I haven’t yet, but I’m guessing my day of reckoning is coming.

Thats true. I realized my want may not come true here in texas since everything here is big and they have theyre own fuel companies.

I would love a 2 door Bronco Sport. My wife has had 3 two door Explorer Sports & would probably sell the 4 door Bronco Sport for a 2 door. Here is a pic of her last 2 door Explorer sport that we stll have.

Had a Jeep Renegade with a 6 speed manual; loved that car, but it didn't have a low low and actually struggled to get up super steep driveways. Traded it in for a Bronco Sport and have no regrets. Manual BS would only be good, IMO, if it had a compound low for 4WD; would appreciate it if the current Big Bend would offer an auto select gear down button so you could maintain decent RPMs going uphill instead of lugging and having to push the accel down to re-kick it down.

Not in a million years. No demand, especially for a manual.
Yep true but seeing as it’s hard to get orders on the big B

Yeah i still have my rav4 which can do that forced lower gear using the overdrive option. It’s gonna be hard for the BS since it has 8gears and the microwave shift knob needs to be updated (this one annoyed me at first but i got used to it)

You want a Bronco Sport, but with 2 doors and a removable top? Ford already makes this vehicle (with a few other "tweaks"), it's called the Bronco! ?

2-door Bronco is very similar in size to existing Bronco Sport, and there's plenty available to buy on dealer lots

For a price I cannot afford, sadly.

I demand it.

There, now there's a demand for it.
I would have ordered it in a heartbeat! The 2 full-size I have is manual. I probably wouldn’t have ordered it if it wasn’t. I’ve had manual transmissions cars and trucks for 50 years. I learned on a 50’s Chevy with a three on the tree.
