Now would be the time to decide whether or not you want a nudge bar I supposeI got side swipped at 15mph and the damage is roughly $6k for some minor damage. Seems like a lot, but luckily the insurance covers it. there are a lot of small parts on the vehicle and what I would consider as a $2k - $3k worth of damage is much more. I’m guessing all the plastic on the vehicle doesn’t hold up very well.
Unibody frames tend to fold up on themselves. Good for occupants, not so much for the vehicle.
My good friend has a Body Shop and he always finds more damage than the estimator finds after he takes more parts off.This is how I bought mine for $13k with only 2000 miles. Turned out to be a lot worse than what I could see in the pictures. It took over a year and too much money to get her right, but I know more about this vehicle than any other vehicle I ever had. I had to remove everything from under the hood and the entire interior.

That’s a lot of work! How much were the parts altogether 7k? Then your time if you had to pay someone instead.
