Just purchased my base model last Tuesday. I quickly designed and installed my own 2” level lift. I installed 245/70/17 bfgoodrich km3 tires. I will be installing some ALPHAequipt wheels this week. Just got the windows tinted yesterday.

@Wyo what you going to do with original wheels(rims) and tires? Just curious is all. Road driving?
Probably nothing. I love the Falken Wildpeaks. They are a great all-around tire. And I actually like the wheels.

Wow, looks sweet with all that rubber around the standard wheels even! Can you explain how you did your own 2 inch lift and did you have to do that in order to house that much rubber around the rims? Any scraping on the front now on full turns?

Looks great! Did the level kit consist of front & back or just front?

Just front as of now. The front is actually 3/4” higher then the rear right now. So I might do a 1” lift in the rear.

That much rubber did fit on stock offset wheels. I had to trim the pinch welds on the firewall to clear at full lock. I designed and fabricated the 2” to achieve the level look and make room for the 30.5”x9.6” tires on stock wheels. I will be installing some aftermarket wheels this week to determine if the 2” is sufficient or if I need to do anther 1/2”.

Looks awesome. So, is there any reason my FE with a 1" lift kit from 4WP wouldn't be able to fit this 245/70R17 size tire?

I've wanted the setup like the trail rig concept, but I keep hearing that 245/65R17 is the largest tire I can do even with the 1" lift.
Yet I'm seeing that size put on lower trim level Sports that are an inch lower than mine to start with.

I'm confused 😕

I’m interested and curious also. Can’t wait to get my hands on a FE or BL to see what the difference is.
