Traded my Sport in on my big Bronco, so I have some stuff to get rid of.
Falken 235/65R17 tires that came stock on my First Edition. 9k Miles on them.
OEM rubber floor liners. Front and rear.
Yakima HD Crossbar kit from Ford, had them on for 2 months and never used.
Auto start/stop...
I bought these for my BS a few months ago and never got around to putting them on. Only had a few miles on them when they were pulled off the Maverick. Includes caps and lugnuts, no TPMS.
Just trying to get what I paid for them.
$350.
I'm in the Eastside area near Seattle.
I ended up doing the HRG 1.25" kit and 245/70R17 Falken AT3w. It had minor rub on the pinch weld at near full lock so I took the grinder and took off about 1/8" out of a section of it. No more rubbing. Very happy with how it turned out.
I took my CO FE a few weeks ago and they offered me 45k. Pretty crazy. I've decided to stick it out with my big Bronco order even though it might take a year.
Are you getting something from CarMax? What are you wanting to get?
Tell them you might be wrong, but you want them replaced anyway lol. All I can say is new pads got rid of the noise for me right away and it never returned.
I worked at a tire shop for 12 years when I was younger that also did mechanical work, so something to do with the pads being the culprit...
Alright thanks all. Pretty much confirmed my feeling about the silver being too much of a contrast. Maybe I'll powder coat them gunmetal or just resell.
I really like the steelie old school look and functionality. The bright silver is throwing me off though. Maybe painted a gun metal to match the grill would be better.
So I bought some Maverick steelie take-offs thinking I'd out them on my Sport. I've had it almost a year and thought it's time to break up the black/orange school bus look. Was going to put on some silver cross bars too.
Now I'm not so sure it'll look good. Any opinions would be welcome.
Really I don't know if the lift actually helped the tire clearance much. It seems like either way it would rub the wheel well liner a bit where the pinch weld is. I lifted it anyway to be safe and get the extra ground clearance.
Stock tires 235/65R17 measure 29", 245/70R17 are 30.5...so 1.5" difference(.75" lift).
8.8+.75+1.25" come to 10.8" ground clearance. Same as a Jeep Rubicon, I'm good with that ?
