Very nice! I'm at I believe 42k flawless miles on my 21 Badlands. Use it off-road all the time. Sand mode in our deep snow this winter has been amazing!
No!
You can get 245/65r17s on there. There is someone on the What Did You do to your Bronco Sport Today thread who is going with a 1.75" lift and he swears 31s will fit without rubbing. So far, I don't believe anyone on here has claimed to have done that without trimming a little of the unibody...
I agree if someone has a way to fit 31's with just a 1.75" lift and no rubbing, there will be long line of interested BS owners including myself. Ever since Ford showed up their overlanding rig with 31s and then nothing since.
No, you're right, it's a beast in the snow. We had a recent 15" storm and I could not get it to remotely feel like it was struggling. Didn't even slip period and this was on unplowed roads and open fields.
Sand mode in deep snow is a blast! Most of the time normal or slippery is all you need but sometimes in the deeper snow, I want the revs and no chance for the traction control to kick on.
Absolutely believe it. I've pulled many 30 mpg trips on my BL with one particularly good trip over 33 mpg. I've gotten higher mpg on shorter trips. My lifetime average is 28 mpg after 38,000 miles. I use 91 octane ethanol free gas and don't drive it like a sports car. So I have no doubt the 1.5...
That was my problem with the stock Falkens, great tire but didn't hold up off road. Two flats and then I finally switched. No change in gas mileage with my Maxxis Razr AT's and great off-road so far. If I was sticking to more on road like the OP, then I'd probably just stick with the stock Falkens.
Max 1/2" on top. It's yet to be seen for me if it will accumulate any off-road debris. It's an easy off on so not a big deal if it has to be 'cleaned' after a certain period. @timhutch also has it on his and has done a lot more than me so far.
Oh yes, I remember seeing the Woolworth vehicle a while back. So the skid plate looks like it's their $169 one. Not bad!
I see HRG offroad has one two now with a little more coverage but also more price ($349)
