Booo. Oh well, the rubber mats will do fine. Big thing I find is carpet floors the dog fur weaves into it in places like under the seats, etc.
I totally agree with you, but at the same time I do have something that helps. I have an attachment for my home vacuum that has a brush and is driven by the suction (kind of like a turbo). I use it mostly on the carpeted stairs in the house but it does a great job on the carpet in the vehicle too. Just something to try if you can.

That looks a little "busier" than the same sort of patterns on my BL rubber flooring. Nature of the material I think though. AND IT DOES SHOW quite evident marks when you scuff it with your shoe/boot/other items. As others have said, most of it is covered by the front and rear rubber mats, if you have them. Mine are just all dirty now, most of the time! Too much (?) adventuring!

Got my 22' BL mid May.... my floor DOES NOT look like that...Mine is completly smooth and uniform looking...that looks like some wired residue??? I would try some Simple Green cleaner to see if that degreases it.

Alright all, I picked up my 2022 badlands today and am super excited, it drives like a dream! BUT did anyone else’s floors look like this?? I thought it was just because the dealer didn’t clean it well but it’s not coming off for me when I try to clean it, and it looks bad.
Also wondering in the third picture if the flooring should be formed like that or if it’s a wrinkle that shouldn’t be there..
Aaaaaand wondering if I’m missing a panel on the drivers side pedal area. It looks a bit odd to me with all of that exposed, so I think it’s missing something. I know it’s missing the passenger side panel in that same area, so it wouldn’t surprise me.
Thanks for all the help ahead of time, these forums have been really informative and helpful so far!

If you have purchased the Ford rubber floor mats for the Badlands or another brand for the Badlands, would you please add a picture to show how much is covered on the wrinkled floor on the passenger side. Also, did the dealer supply the missing panel under the glove box?

Same here. Got mine in March. Looks just fine but still covered it up with Ford liners.

There has been a lot written about that panel under the glove box. It should come up with a search.

You'll find experiences all over the map. A few had the panel from the factory. Most did not. Some owners were able to get their dealer to order it without much trouble. Others had to go back and forth between the dealer and Ford. Some decided to buy the panel with their own money. Some decided to do without it.

In our case, it took some trouble but we were able to get the panel -- as well as the folding head rests, and a shackle hitch receiver (to replace the rear recovery point that's lost with the factory hitch).

Some missing items/features were actually discontinued -- like the engine cover. Others were missing due to supply chain issues. It's not always clear which is the case. Sometimes owners are told a part has been officially eliminated ("decontented") by Ford, when in reality it should have been included.

It's been over a year since we took delivery of our BS BL, so things may have changed. Perhaps Ford has now officially stopped supplying that panel. I hope not, for your sake.

Good luck!

That's good to hear -- at least there's hope for those of us with marks on the rubber flooring.

I didn't see anything specifically recommended by Ford, so I guess we'll try Simple Green or similar.

My wife just tried a small amount of Dawn and warm water on a microfiber cloth. That didn't help much.

There is a product we've used on exterior trim that is amazing. The box looks lame because it says, "As seen on TV!" but it works great and lasts for years. It might work on the floor.

I can try to find a link if anyone is interested.

I use the factory carpeted mats during everyday use, I throw them in the back when things get sloppy or when driving offroad. The rubber/glorified vinyl flooring gets scuffed fairly easily, it's a utility vehicle not a limo.

NO! It must be perfect in every way!

You're right, it's not a big deal. My wife is already over it. She said the same thing -- the factory carpeted floor mats cover up most of it.

We have an older bottle of this product (or similar):

I may give it try.
