Not me but yes a lot of ppl did.Did a lot of people pay over MSRP for their Sports?
Not me either but I got mine at Granger for 6% under invoice, original price protection plus the 1k Ford rebate. 32K something for a Badlands. Even the state of Wisconsin didnāt believe it.Not me but yes a lot of ppl did.
The base comes standard with 30 inch tires so itās not going to sit much higher than a base Sport. The Braptor on the other hand comes standard with 37ās plus a lift. The full size Badlands comes standard with 33ās and a bit of lift.I read that the full size Bronco starts at 8.4 inches of ground clearance vs 8.8 on the badlands. FYI. The SAS was a little to tall for my vertically challenged self.
I donāt know where you are getting your tire diameters from, but it is wrong. Not sure about the Bronco numbers but the BS numbers are way off.The base comes standard with 30 inch tires so itās not going to sit much higher than a base Sport. Not sure what you mean? Comes directly from the Ford website?I donāt know where you are getting your tire diameters from, but it is wrong. Not sure about the Bronco numbers but the BS numbers are way off.
My bad, I thought your tire sizes were BS numbers, not Bronco numbers. The fact that there are similar model names between the two can get confusing. Not sure what you mean? Comes directly from the Ford website?
Base BS are 28.5. Badlands optional are 29.1
Full Size range
Which is exactly what Ford hoped for...The fact that there are similar model names between the two can get confusing.
All well said. What Iād also add is that in the pursuit of that quick profit, dealers also burned relationships with customers. My local dealer ensured that Iāll never give them a dime if my business ever again simply because 2 or 3 months before the end of nice run dealers had on charging those markup, my local dealer would not honor X-plan pricing for me on my 3rd new car purchase from themā¦.the previous 2 being X-plan purchases and thr 2nd of which was earlier in 2022. So I wanted to buy a second new car from them in less than a year but they thought Iād be cool with getting a far worse deal? GTFOā¦.So many people are underwater, they did it to themselves by paying too much. I had to drive almost 3hrs away just to get MSRP on my BS, still didn't like the deal. One of the stories going around is some lady is $35k underwater on a Kia. People need to wake up with their finances. I'm in the industry, seeing a lot of these situations. Banks are seeing a lot of delinquent accounts. Dealers made a quick buck with the markups but now removed those buyers from the market because now they can't get out from under their current car. Consumers are at fault to for playing along. Banks are just as guilty also for buying these loans. Time to be happy with what you have.
Same. I lost $4,000 on my trade-in over a 4 or 5 month period.I take forever to decide on a new vehicle, but from the time that I was looking to the time I fell in love and found the exact Bronco Sport I wanted, the trade in value on my BMW fell by $5000. This was over the course of only 4 months. Honestly I'd look at a lift kit and maybe some running boards. I'm actually very excited to be lifting mine with some larger tires. And there is a crazy price difference on the full size Broncos right now to get the same QOL features as the Sport.
I ordered a ā23 BS Badlands in September of '22 with the premium package and 360+. $38k. I agree - deals exist, and they always didā¦.even through the frenzy. Paid under MSRP for a ā22 BS Badlands I ordered in March of 2022, and things were pretty insane at that time. I get that people find themselves in different situations and sometimes have to take a deal they didnāt necessarily like. Knock on wood Iāve never been thereā¦never been in a situation where I had to take a deal I didnāt like.I ordered my 2023 Bronco Sport OBX back in Sept of 22. The dealership I purchased from only charges $50 over invoice (whatever it costs them to get the vehicle from Ford). Additionally, I was able to get about $2k in rebates off that price as well. I ended up getting my 23 OBX for around $36k. The only major option I did not order was the Co-Pilot 360+. I think its worth it to shop around as much as possible. Although it is convenient to shop locally, it could save you several thousand in money. The local dealership down the road from where I live wanted $3k over MSRP for a 22' OBX (no thanks!). That is why I was willing to drive about an hour south to purchase mine! Good luck all!
