I used my brother-in-law's lift to install my mud guards. It made an easy job even easier. Also, be sure to check the torque on your lug nuts. My front lug nuts were maybe 40 Ft/Lbs from the factory. I made sure to torque all 4 wheels to the proper spec.
I got mine today too. Price protection applied, $1,000 offer applied, no hassle. Purchased from Donley Ford in Mt Vernon, OH. As others have said, it's definitely worth the wait!
Did your BS rail end in Wayne, MI? Mine has been there since 7/6. I am hoping mine is arriving to my dealer in OH soon. Where about in OH are you? I'm in central OH.
My car arrived at Wayne, MI 7/6. I was just told today by Ford Chat that my ETA changed from 7/10-7/16 to 7/22-7/28. I was afraid this last part would drag on. I'm only 175 miles away from Wayne.
My order is still showing a delivery ETA of 07/16 which has come and passed. My salesman text me this morning, it is still not at the dealership. No one has the trucking info. So close yet feels like so far away. This process could and should be a lot more transparent. I feel for us all that are...
Look up Magnuson-Moss Act. The manufacture can only deny a warranty claim if they can successfully prove any changes to the vehicle specifically caused an issue. Happy safe modding!
Ford Chat just advised the vehicle has been received by a carrier at ramp location. Now it just has to truck 175 miles to my dealer. ETA is 7/16. Almost out of the waiting room!
They can't guarantee 3 days to the dealer after the last rail stop. If that was the case, I would have my BS by now. It's been sitting at the last rail stop since July 6th with no trucking info available. I just don't want you to have the wrong expectation.
