Have you talked to the general manager at the dealership? Dealers are allowed to order two mannequins which have the 4k miles restriction. These are not customer orders. The dealer orders whatever options they want on those vehicles. Customer orders are completely separate. Sounds like you...
2.0 in my escape is great. Never had any problems with it. Most of my commute is over 85 mph and I have no problem entering the highway or passing other cars.
It really depends on what you are coming from in your current vehicle. I currently have the 2.0 in an escape and I’m used to the power so there’s no way I’m dropping down to the 1.5. If you are used to less power in your current ride, it should be just fine.

Here is the disclosure listed on the build and price:
Note.
Information is provided on an "as is"...
I think the mannequins get used as loaner vehicles. I guess it’s a good way to get the vehicle out in public and also gets some people driving it when they might not otherwise.
Your dealer just has what they call a mannequin. Those are vehicles that the dealer can’t sell until they have 4,000 (I believe) miles on them. The dealer could have picked out any trim they wanted for these vehicles but a lot are choosing the badlands. Your dealer will probably get some regular...
