What do you use on your FE decals to keep them from getting wax marks on them. Is there any wax that's safe to go over them without leaving wax marks?

Dates seem to be all over the place even when in transit. Some get to dealer in a couple weeks other seem to go into the Twilight Zone. Mine has been in transit almost a month. On inventory search on Ford site it no longer shows Dealer Ordered or Delivered and on dealer site it's not showing up...
