I agree with you on that. For me it was an easier decision that didn't take fuel mileage into consideration at all... it was the simple fact that Sport is all I need from a straight up size perspective. This thing is great! Reminds me so much of the Bronco II I grew up with in the 80's!
Not gonna lie... I don't give 2 flips about fuel economy. I didn't buy my V8 Challenger because I was trying to get great MPG and quite honestly I didn't buy the Bronco Sport for it either. If I cared about fuel economy I'd have bought a Prius or a SUV hybrid.
The dealership filled it up for...
I was actually thinking about doing this with a leather type holster... just getting some heavy duty velcro and sticking it to a concealed location.
SW 686 Plus... .357
I've done some looking online and it almost seems like there aren't any car mount options for revolvers. Not everyone...
I pretty much stick to this side of the Cascades with no real reason to cross the passes… but there are a few ski resorts here in western Washington and Leavenworth is a town I’d love to check out in the winter… so now that I have my Badlands I’ll be getting a set.

Sounds like it!
I’ll be back at my dealer in the next week or two to pick up my tags and am going to ask about this part. Will post back with what they say.
I’d rather pay $40 and avoid headaches and frustration but I’m still going to ask.
It's something I'm just going to monitor for the time being and will see if I continue to notice any bass vibrations from the sound system.
As for the engine cover... well... I did email Silver State Ford to inquire and got this response just now...
"Per the VIN provided, these are correct...
Mine is yours twin and I have no idea what it's for... I just now actually noticed it. I just thought it was a gap to the right of the heated seats button... ??
I've seen it before though. My Challenger didn't have the adaptive cruise and the button on the steering wheel where it was was...
Yeah take a look at the Copart site and you'll be surprised what kind of wrecks you'll discover... I've seen totaled out high dollar premium vehicles/exotic sports cars with less than 20 miles on them.
I'm like "What did these people do? Crash them on the way home from the dealership?"
I'm...
In addition to lacking an engine cover I just checked and mine is also lacking this part. I'm fine with no engine cover and honestly this part missing isn't a big deal to me either... but I am wondering... would it help with what I assume to be bass vibration coming from the B&O sound system...
I definitely am! 2 weeks into ownership and 225 miles on her... about to fill her up for the first time this weekend!
A great ride! Reminds me a lot of the Bronco II my Dad drove me around in back in the mid 1980's. Ford did a nice job with the retro look on both the Bronco and Bronco Sport...
Oh absolutely. Nothing I'm stressing over... much rather have heated seats. Around here they are useful well into June with those 40 degree mornings. :)
It also protects pedestrians. ? ?
I did look at various threads and saw the engine cover had the same part number... but the other parts had differing part numbers for the studs and bolts across multiple threads on the subject. Difference between '21 and '22? I even had OEM sites telling...
You definitely have a point there. My Challenger had both and the seats in the Bronco definitely get warmer. It wasn't a deal breaker for me because as said I'm in Washington state and not Florida. Around here ventilated seats do see some summer usage but it's very limited.
Upstate NY eh...
Ironically I just commented on one of his videos yesterday. I told him the dealmaker for me was all the Twinkie storage in the Bronco Sport.
Best reviewer on YouTube IMO.
No real complaints so far in my 2 weeks of ownership... but I am wondering why at this price point the Badlands has heated seats but not ventilated seats.
Glad I'm in Washington state and not Florida... otherwise I'd be more annoyed. ? ?
