Tried three different heavy duty Velcro but none of them stick to the plastic surface.
Oh the trials and tribulations of a shooter.
I carry my Ruger LCR in a pocket holster or a leather belt holster. For carrying in the car, you don't need a fitted holster. Just get a large cheap nylon holster for temporary car carry. Same would apply if I wanted a place for my SW586.
Thanks for the info!

Tried three different heavy duty Velcro but none of them stick to the plastic surface. My next attempt will be Gorilla Glue. All I need is to get the magnet to stick to the car interior. The magnet holds the holsters belt clip solidly in place.

really surprised by this
velcro I used on my rear seat panels is nothing less than astounding
adhered to plastic/rubber seat backing extremely well

I was also surprised. Just fell right off. The magnet should be fine it holds holster clip firmly. Just have to get it to adhere to driver side of center console.
Your suggestions are much appreciated...as well as your other commentaries.

I had an AlienGear Shapeshift for my XDS in the holster drawer for a long time not being used... Recently found out they have a Molle mount they didn't have back then. I've tried Molle-Loc and other mounts... I like this one the best... Easy to detach the holster and/or adjust the cant by pressing a button!

Having it mounted behind the Driver seat makes it easy to get to, and out-of-sight for anyone not violating my comfort zone.

That’s awesome! I have the 4.0 holster. Unfortunately I always have kids in the backseat so I like to keep it close to me. That’s a pretty sweet mount tho!

I believe the safest and best tactical location for a pistol is on my hip. I have several pistols and a couple of drawers full of holsters Most of the time I'm carriyng a 2G Glock 19 or a S&W Performance Center EZ-9. A couple of years ago I refurbished the old G19. New internals, 3.5lb trigger, Cerakoted the slide and new Ameriglo front sight. Discarded the old mags (one was cracked) and bought new Magpuls. Nothing original inside the Glock except the frame. I wouldn't trade it for a new one.

Most frequent holster is a Don Hume JIT. Very simple leather holster. I skip the 3 o'clock belt loop so it will slide on my 511 gunbelt. Outside the vehicle I carry at 4 o'clock, inside slide it to 3 o'clock so I can access with the seat belt fastened. Certainly not a retention holster, but holds pistols close to your body and is super comfortable. A couple of extra mags in the driver's door. Pic of the Glock.
