I thought the rears were super easy. I just popped out the plastic clips… peeled back the soft liner… installed metal clips… installed screws.
The rears didn’t have any flat black trim in the way like the fronts do.
Don’t worry about pulling yours off yet.
Thanks.
If you want sure… I get...
Ok... I'll give it a try tomorrow. I guess I need to work around the flat black trim... i.e. peel back the soft liner and reach behind it.
Just a PITA. ?
No prob!
Yeah... as said in the first post with pics I have 4x of each part shown with the instructions... 4 metal clips... 4 7mm screws, and 4 plastic clips.
The metal clips are for the 7mm screws to grab... where do you mount them? That's the issue I'm having. On the rears there was a...
Thanks for the reply. Yeah the drilling isn't the problem I'm just wondering what I am drilling into... (see previous reply)
The backs had a frame with holes that I had to put those metal clips on so the screws would have something to grab... and I'm assuming the same applies here... only I...
Thanks for the reply. Now it's making sense... I guess now what I am looking at in the middle left side of that instruction page is a drill image? ?
I guess my only concern is what am I drilling into. As said I can feel behind the flat black trim with my fingers and it feels like the same...
I'm sure I'll be happy once I get them installed... but I do have a question.
I got the rears on with no problem... removed the 4 plastic clips... peeled back the interior soft wall... installed the 4 metal clips... and then the 4 screws with a 7mm socket.
Done deal.
The fronts look to be a...
it would be from the email notifications you get from this site when you are following a thread.
But you knew that?

It definitely is light... my Challenger was like 1000 lbs heavier. ? I am running premium... just had my first fillup and will be tracking the MPG performance just to satisfy my curiousity even though I really don't care. This purchase was to satisfy the craving for a vehicle that could...
Since this thread was bumped today I'll chime in with my thoughts as a new BL owner. I agree with all of the above and couldn't be happier with the purchase. The reviews I saw said the BL was the way to go if you are doing both on and off-road adventuring which I will definitely be doing here...
Yeah I've seen a lot of pics like this but there is no display on the knobs of my '22... I just see it on the screen and when I adjust the temp it pops up.
I'm a bit confused because here's mine and it looks somewhat like the top pic with the temps on the knob but I've never seen a temp...
Yeah that's one of the things that jumped out at me when I bought mine. I didn't notice it until the test drive.
Vinyl flooring? Oh yes. The OEM mats arrive tomorrow and I'm good to go.
For some reason carpeted floor mats came with mine... but they got put into storage.
Same here. ? ?
There's so many things I love about it... but the most obvious is the fact it doesn't look all the other SUVs on the road while reminding me a lot of the Bronco II my dad drove me around in back in the mid 1980's.
Well to follow up I must say I am 0% impressed with this entire update process.
I updated a week ago via USB... connected to WiFi and shutdown the vehicle. I did the same connect to WiFi again a couple days ago hoping to sync my vehicle with the update site as I was told would happen.

Interesting... I'm going to Florida next month for 2 weeks vacation and think I might try that.
Or is 2 weeks too short? The Bronco Sport is parked outside.
