That probably explains why I'm getting less than 20 MPG in my Badlands. The engine barely has time to warm up by the time I get to work... ? 5 miles one way.
Haven't taken a road trip yet...
So far spent $320 on the OEM mud flaps and the OEM floor mats...
Anything else I need? Lemme know! Don't much care about the missing engine cover or missing panel under the glove box. ? ?
I've only had my Badlands a few weeks and just filled it for the first time. Don't really have a big enough sample size... only 275 miles on the vehicle. MPGs so far upper teens?
With a 10 mile round trip daily commute on side streets... I don't really care. I didn't buy this vehicle because...
You claim you arenāt butthurt but you keep responding telling me how laughable it is to want a vehicle that has more power. This was after you replied a few minutes ago and promptly deleted it⦠because I got the notification.
You even had other posters tell you after my response that the 2.0L...
I updated mine via USB on Thursday... but obviously I didn't do the whole connect to WiFi thing and then power off the vehicle thing correctly because the website still tells me I need an update.
Strange that something so easy is made so difficult. I can start the car with an app but the car...
For me going from a 392 Challenger to a Badlands is a downgrade from a horsepower perspective but oddly enough I am totally happy with the performance of the 2.0L... especially in sport mode.
Again... I'm glad that there is no cylinder deactivation on the 2.0L. I saw MANY reports of guys with...
Yep... without a doubt. I don't knock people for making decisions based on their needs... but I do get a good laugh watching Tesla review videos where the guy says he's proud to own a zero emission vehicle. ??? Can't say emissions are of any importance to me at all.
If you wanna play you...
Thank you! What you've said is exactly my point! I've been here for the last 11 years and living here is EXACTLY why I went with the 2.0L!
That is a win in my book. My V8 Challenger had cylinder deactivation and a lot of people still complained about it... MDS (multi displacement system)...
I've only seen that engine stop thing happen a few times at stop lights... haven't used ECO mode yet and don't think I ever will. For me it's been sport mode and slippery mode... we are now entering the rainy season. Check the Seattle forecast and you'll see what I'm talking about... damp in...
You just love to put words in other people's mouths eh? Let the butthurt flow through you! Tell me how you really feel!
You know what you should do? Drive the hell out of your 1.5 with a smile on your face. I prefer to have as much power available as possible and don't give 2 flips about...
Yeah... and if I cared about being in first I'd have kept my Challenger 392 I traded in on this Bronco Sport. ? ? ?
That car could hit 100+ mph barely 1/4 the way up the previously mentioned hill.
It wasn't very good in the snow though. :)
In the end being spoiled by that car was another...
Have you seen some of the hills around here in the Pacific Northwest? Iāll put it to you like this with one example. Thereās one a few miles away that I take every day to work. I can start at the top⦠not touch the gas at all⦠and coast all the way down and be going 80 mph when I hit the...
For my information? You mad? Defensive much?
Nobody here said the 1.5L couldn't make it up a hill. The 2.0L will do it better though... and it's not even a debate.
Yeah I'm getting PPF on the front end... entire hood, a-pillars... etc... not worried too much about the roof but after reading this thread maybe I should? It's the gloss black though.
Front bumper and mirrors are flat black so those aren't getting done... but they are meant to do a better...
I was driving a Challenger Scat Pack 392... 485 hp... but after 8 years I let it go in favor of the Bronco Sport Badlands.
Fuel mileage and cost didn't have a thing to do with my decision though. I just wanted a vehicle that was more off road/winter driving capable... and much like I loved the...
My last vehicle was black... the first and last time I do that color. I went with Cactus Gray on the BS because it's super forgiving and easy to take care of... along with silver and white.
250 miles on mine... all local traffic. No interstate or high speed driving as of yet... because she...
For a 2 year old thread to still be on page 1 must mean this forum doesn't see much activity... but I'll chime in and say that this is also true in western Washington state.
There are enough hills and mountains around here that the thought of trying to climb them in a 1.5L 3cyl is absolutely...
I'd agree. I'm also tracking fuel usage but don't have a big enough sample size yet to post my thoughts... but I'm not expecting improved fuel mileage at all. Definitely not spending a few bucks extra every tank for a couple MPGs... I'm doing it for performance gains... and because it's such a...
