And no changing stations as you cross the country. I like being able to listen to a whole ball game without having to worry about reception.
This is what sold it for me. I've taken many cross-country trips and it has been great being able to not have to deal with finding a different channel every hour or so as an FM station breaks up. And finding a decent channel can be almost impossible in some areas of the country where all there is is Religious talk radio or old school country.

I will try! Okay, so on my 2015 Mazda CX5, when I was setting up the stations, I could push on that station and it would save it for me. It had 3 screen pages that held about 5 preset stations I liked listening to. Now my Mazda did not have Android Auto. My Bronco Sport, while using my AA, I can't seem to save presets. All it does is, when I go to the main SiriusXM page, it shows a few of my recently listened to channels and also gives me the choice to pick other channels but I can't seem to pick preset channels!! I always have AA going, but I have seen that if the AA isn't going, the channels can be preset. I was just wondering if there was a way, while using AA, that i can preset my most listened to stations.
That’s correct, as stated earlier go to your Sync 4 screen - that’s where u save presets (Sirius, FM, AM)

And ads for the local Winn Dixie!

I’m on the $3 a month plan. It’s based on the Lexus but using the app let’s me use it on either of the Broncos. This is my second cycle of $3/month for three years. Prior to that it was $4 or $5 per month but every year I had to haggle with them to keep the price. I can get similar stations using the Amazon Music app so I’d be ok if I couldn’t get it. They seem reluctant to lose me as a customer and keep me on the plan. It does seem like the satellite reception has gotten worse over the years on the Lexus compared to the app version on the Broncos. Maybe the new satellite will help. I also do like some of the app stations better as the programming is better with no talking. I recall many years ago being on road trips hearing the same songs every few days. Now we rarely hear the same song after a weeks worth of driving with the app version of the station rather than the satilite channel version.

I see, so unfortunately there is no saving the stations on the Android Auto screen.

No because it would do no good - sync 4 manages the audio including presets (favorites as you call them) for sync as well for Android Auto and for CarPlay (iPhones) - this applies to presets for SiriusXM, FM and AM stations

Once you create your presets (favorites) using the Sync screen, you can use those while AA is running - as long as your steering wheel controls shown in the pic’s red box work to scroll through the presets (I am not sure how those steering wheel controls work for ‘25 and ‘26 based on an earlier post from another owner)

Try creating your presets, bring up AA and use those steering controls (shown in the red box) and let us know

SiriusXM does not run under Android Auto or CarPlay. SiriusXM is running on the SYNC system. SiriusXM and any terrestrial radio stations are saved on SYNC 3.4 or SYNC 4.

You must toggle between platforms from the center screen.

Not exactly correct but is accurate on how I prefer to use siriusXM

Besides what you stated, I have the SiriusXM App on my iPhone as many people do. I could also launch the app from CarPlay just like you launch Google Maps

I use SiriusXM on CarPlay exclusively. I can bounce between fm stations and XM stations.

One thing I noticed about the next/prev controls on the steering wheel is that they (1) change the saved settings for the radio globally - in other words if I have a saved station at 97.5 FM, then a siriusxm channel, then another station like 700 AM, it will cycle through those. What I'd rather have is (2) simple next/prev station in XM. I have a 2025 BSBB.
thats one feature I like, you can load up what 18 presets, I think up to 30 if you enable 5 pages, so you put them in a proper order of the mores listend to to the least and you can bounce around between all the presets.

$500 - you must have purchased after the introductory $199 lifetime plan
There never was 199 introductory offer. When serious satellite radio lifetime plan originated in 2004, it was 399. And very quickly rose to 599, and at the time that it ended, it was at $699. I know this as 100% fact as my sister has worked in advertising for sirius since 2001. In the mid-2000s, they did offer two promotions where you could get lifetime for $199 on the first promotion the second one they had upped it to $299. I myself paid $499 for my lifetime plan, which also included five free transfers from one radio to another. Which they eventually did away with and now charge a minimum $35 transfer fee. I really kicked myself for not jumping on board during the cheap promotion. As my sister constantly hounded me to purchase a lifetime subscription then. When I did finally decide to do it of course I couldn't get the cheaper deal. Just my luck

Sorry, I still have the receipt for $199 USD, lifetime Sirius Subscription

In June 2005, $199 USD was worth between $243.72 and $249.96 CAD

Why does it matter? That was 2005

Did you get your presets (favorites) programmed ?
Not yet. So, I always use my Android Auto and as there isn't a way to preset channels that way. I also noticed that the sound sounds better through that than the SYNC4, in my vehicle any way, I'll just keep doing it as I have been. I will at some point try it.
