The 2.0 MPC isn’t new; it first appeared in the ‘23 Escape making it three years old now. It’s just coming to the BS in ‘25.
Didn't they use this engine in the Ford Focus ST?

Good Morning Everyone,

Well I ended up w/a left over 2024 Badlands, which did include the color I wanted, the Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, which looks more like blue rather than gray.

While I wanted a 2025 Model w/the Sasquatch Package, cost prevailed.

I got the 2024, not only w/the Ford Employee Pricing Sales Program that they had, but got an additional $2000 off that as well.
On top of that, I got it w/3.90% interest w/Ford, which my Credit Union couldn't match.

Then to add on top of that, the dealer had an Extended Warranty they added, as well as a $250 Gasoline Credit card.

As for the Options on the vehicle itself, it came w/the Trailer Towing Package as well as came w/the Falken WP 235/65 R17 A/T Tires, but nothing else.

As standard equipment, the FORD CO-PILOT360, which I believe use to be an Option on earlier models, is now standard.

This is the dealer's photo, so I'll get some better pictures taken. ?

Now I have to go and get it christened offroad this weekend, w/a little dirt on it. ?

Sounds like a great deal

Turns out that FORD CO-PILOT360 is standard equipment .. The extra cost option is Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ (list of features is below)

You got two of the best options: Trailer Towing Package and Falken WP 235/65 R17 A/T Tires

Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+
• Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering
• Evasive Steering Assist
• Voice-Activated Touchscreen Navigation
• Speed Sign Recognition
NOTE: Adaptive Cruise Control with Speed Sign Recognition = Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control
The 2025 Maverick XLT AWD 2.0 Eco Boost i bought has Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist PKG whatever that means?

Maybe it means you have the features shown in the quoted portion of your Post #19

I don’t have a maverick

I asked my dealer to give me a price on a 25 Badlands with the technology package. My lease is ending soon so I’ve been considering my options.

He sent me back a quote of $5,000 down and $740/month.

That’s thousands more down and hundreds more each month than my 22 Badlands.

It gave me a good laugh. They deserve to go out of business.
I can only imagine what Parks Ford in Gainesville Florida will add to that cost you were quoted.

I Love the 2025 XLT AWD Maverick i have now with the 2.0 EB. And it was actually Cheaper than the 2023 BS BB i had. MSRP on the BS was $33,135.00 and the Maverick was $31,510.00. And the Maverick has the 2.0 EB 4 cylinder, and the BS BB had the 1.5 EB 3 cylinder in it i'm.not sure why the BB BS's are more Money than the Mavericks.

I'm trying to make my mind clear haha I like all the goodies on my 2023 BS BL fully loaded, but there's this 2024 Maverick Tremor left over... I'm not sure if it is a smart move. I notice the passenger seat is manual VS the electric passenger seat on the BS. The BS has front camera, Maverick don't. The BS has back parking sensor, I don't recall if the Maverick has it or not...

I'm about to pick up a 2024 Cactus Gray Badlands with class II hitch and the Falken A/T tires. I don't really care about any of the features added to the 2025 model. I like the looks of the 2024 bumpers so much more than what they did on the 2025. I'm getting a new one with full warranty from purchase out the door for under $33.5K. Lowest I could get any of the dealerships to go on 2025 models with hitch were still over $40K. I'm pretty excited to do some dune driving in it.

Great deal!
Same reasons why I bought a leftover 24 Badlands. I'll add I didn't want a screen that controls everything. I like climate control knobs.

The climate controls in the touchscreen really aren't a big deal. My '25 BS BB is the first vehicle I have had with climate controls integrated in to the touchscreen. I was resistant to the idea, coming from decades of dedicated knobs and buttons for climate control.

I am almost 3 months in to ownership, and have literally only touched the climate control maybe 3 times. I set it where I wanted it on delivery, and it just sort of runs itself. I leave it at the same temperature all the time, and the same fan speed. The only time I really need to touch anything is when the auto system thinks recirc needs to be on. Simply tap the icon to shut it off. Very easy to use.
