Hi,

I'm looking at buying a new Bronco Sport Badlands. The dealer has a left over 2024 model left over, marked down of course.

What are the differences, mechanically, between the 2025 and the 2024 Bronco Sport Badlands? The dealer has a left over 2024 Badlands.

The engine HP is said to be less, 238 HP w/the 2025, vs 250 HP w/the 2024. (Minus)

There's the Sasquatch option w/the 2025. (Plus)

There are some added Goat Modes w/the 2025. (Plus)

I also heard, though I can confirm, that the Rear End is said to be different on the 2025 when it comes to the clutches there. (????)

Outside of those things, when considering a 2024 vs. a 2025, any advantage or disadvantage to either year?

I like the new bumpers, but hate the bigger 13" display screen on the 2025 vs. the 8" on the 2024 for the radio/GPS inside.

I'm looking at buying a new one.

Thanks!

I just went for a new '24 Badlands. I don't want a screen with all the inputs for heat,AC etc. I don't like the front silver tow hook set up, Ford raised the cost of a '25 around $ 2K. I got a very nice deal on a '24 (over $6K off out the door with an addendum pkg ) and low financing from Ford. I already took the depreciation hit. I'll add that Ford made some changes with the 2.0L. On a minor note, with Ford's history of recalls, that scared me a bit too.
Now the Sasquatch is a whole different ballgame.
Just my .02.

Some things I like on my 2025 Badlands:
  • Full digital dash with customizable gauges.
  • Wireless SYNC 4 versus SYNC 3.
  • Larger center screen allows for better split screen functionality with bigger viewable areas.
  • New MPC engines (I've read the 2.0 still has the full 250 HP as the gas particulate filter will not be installed until Job 3). Slightly better torque and increase in gas mileage (although 1 MPG increase is rather negligible).
  • 360 degree cameras
  • Front parking sensors
  • Standard CoPilot360+

I could have waited for a 2025, but I went for a 2024—a Big Bend rather than a Badlands.

I, too, don’t like the bigger screen of the 2025 with more digital controls as opposed to the physical switchgear of the 2024. Additionally I prefer the more straightforward 2024 instrument cluster rather than the video game like 2025 version. I also liked the grille on the 2024 better than the 2025. Also saving money versus buying the newer model year.

Correct the 2.0 is still 250 HP and 277 lb.ft of Torque.

Good Morning Everyone,

Well I ended up w/a left over 2024 Badlands, which did include the color I wanted, the Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, which looks more like blue rather than gray.

While I wanted a 2025 Model w/the Sasquatch Package, cost prevailed.

I got the 2024, not only w/the Ford Employee Pricing Sales Program that they had, but got an additional $2000 off that as well.
On top of that, I got it w/3.90% interest w/Ford, which my Credit Union couldn't match.

Then to add on top of that, the dealer had an Extended Warranty they added, as well as a $250 Gasoline Credit card.

As for the Options on the vehicle itself, it came w/the Trailer Towing Package as well as came w/the Falken WP 235/65 R17 A/T Tires, but nothing else.

As standard equipment, the FORD CO-PILOT360, which I believe use to be an Option on earlier models, is now standard.

This is the dealer's photo, so I'll get some better pictures taken. ?

Now I have to go and get it christened offroad this weekend, w/a little dirt on it. ?

I asked my dealer to give me a price on a 25 Badlands with the technology package. My lease is ending soon so I’ve been considering my options.

He sent me back a quote of $5,000 down and $740/month.

That’s thousands more down and hundreds more each month than my 22 Badlands.

It gave me a good laugh. They deserve to go out of business.

Sounds like a great deal

Turns out that FORD CO-PILOT360 is standard equipment .. The extra cost option is Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ (list of features is below)

You got two of the best options: Trailer Towing Package and Falken WP 235/65 R17 A/T Tires

Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+
• Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering
• Evasive Steering Assist
• Voice-Activated Touchscreen Navigation
• Speed Sign Recognition
NOTE: Adaptive Cruise Control with Speed Sign Recognition = Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control

I love my Co-Pilot360 Assist+! It works great when using it for road tripping!

That was also most of my list for choosing a '25 over a '24. That, and the Sasquatch package isn't even available pre- '25, which adds the twin-clutch rear end, HOSS 3.0 and more underbody armor to the list. Not really a difficult decision for me. That, and as this will likely be my last ride, I figured I may as well go big or go home, right?

Stick with the 24 it may have the original 4 cyl. The new one seems iffy. I bought a new 21 my service guys told me stay away from anything new in engines. Even with the 4 cyl. I get around 30 if careful.

The 2.0 MPC isn’t new; it first appeared in the ā€˜23 Escape making it three years old now. It’s just coming to the BS in ā€˜25.

So, it's history must be good.
