2025 BS BL SQ digital display missing its numbers on tachometer and m.p.h.

Today I started my 2025 BS BL Sq w/3,131 miles on it now and noticed the Tachometer and the MPH had no numbers on either display....I pulled over and turned off the Bronco got out and locked it. When I restarted it it was the same with no numbers. I drove 1.5 hours parked and was gone about 2 hours came back and they reappeared. While driving I tried three modes; Sport, Eco, and Normal all had the same issue. (see attached photos)
This is the first time I have seen this, has anyone else seen this anomaly yet?

Probably just a glitch in the software. Maybe an update downloaded?

Yes, I saw something similar earlier this week. I have a 2 month old 2025 BSBB with about 2200 km on the clock. One morning I started the vehicle and there were no numbers showing on the tach. I drove to a grocery store and parked for about 30 minutes. When I restarted, the tach numbers reappeared and there hasn't been a problem since then.

Any suggestions from the experts in the forum ?

One guess is your 2025 was performing a software update or a software update is pending and needs to be applied

on the 2025, do you know how to check if software updates are needed (using that big 13.2” display) or is it set for automatic updates? I would check for updates.

On the 2025s, how is a soft reset performed? Does a Sync 4 Soft Reset using the 13.2” display settings also reset the instrument cluster?

If the architecture on these is anything like the 2024/2025 Mustang, F150 and Mach E (which I am pretty sure it is), the IPC is now controlled by the APIM, so yes. On the F150, you hold down radio power button and forward seek button simultaneously to reset the APIM.

To the owners who had the odometer glitch: If you message me the VIN, I can pull up the OTA dashboard in PTS to check if the truck did indeed get an update or not. OTA history stays recorded in PTS for 60-90 days at a time.

Yep, had this happen only once. Lost the numbers and color ring on the tach. Everything went back to normal the next day and haven’t had the problem since. I also thought it was in mid-update, and thankfully didn’t have to take it in to the dealer for a diagnostic. Other than that one glitch the BS has been flawless.

I must agree I love this Bronco very much, it is a gem. But when this happens you have to wonder what's next....I am sure it was an up-date but will never know.
