My original build week was 2/14, then bumped twice. But here I am trying to check the tracker like maybe they FORGOT they bumped me. Maybe it will still get built this week lol

Huh, that's interesting. I have a VIN but my build date was pushed back to March 7th. It would be great if Ford's process was clear and transparent.I just found out something from my brother in law that works for Ford. Apparently, if you have a VIN, it means your car has already been through assembly. It's most likely sitting in a lot somewhere waiting for a chip.
If Amazon can keep track of my stupid insignificant $15 order from start to finish, I’d hope Ford would be able to let me know where my car is or what’s going on.Huh, that's interesting. I couldn’t even get it to work earlier todayOh goody - the tracker site popped up in landscape orientation. Well, that's some change, I guess...

That's what happened to the December builds. I'm one of them.I just found out something from my brother in law that works for Ford. Apparently, if you have a VIN, it means your car has already been through assembly. It's most likely sitting in a lot somewhere waiting for a chip.
VINs are assigned well in advance of production. I had my VIN on September 23, 2021 and my BS was built December 4, 2021. Production for MY2022 didn't start until November.I just found out something from my brother in law that works for Ford. Not to dismiss your brother in law, but the time between my order confirmation to when I got my VIN was almost exactly a month, and I'd be rather skeptical that they managed to build it in that short time especially over the holiday break. I'm scheduled for 2/28, I have my VIN but no window sticker yet.I just found out something from my brother in law that works for Ford. I totally get that. I just figured I'd share the info I received. To be honest, I think even Ford has no idea what going on. It's definitely been a wild ride for this vehicle lolNot to dismiss your brother in law, but the time between my order confirmation to when I got my VIN was almost exactly a month, and I'd be rather skeptical that they managed to build it in that short time especially over the holiday break. But crazier things have happened and continue to, so...
Scheduled for 02/28, as well. Hoping it stays that way for both of us!Not to dismiss your brother in law, but the time between my order confirmation to when I got my VIN was almost exactly a month, and I'd be rather skeptical that they managed to build it in that short time especially over the holiday break. The VIN is pulled when it is scheduled, not when it is built. I’m guessing that’s what your brother-in-law meant.I just found out something from my brother in law that works for Ford. More like USPS, it was mailed, and in between that and “out for delivery” is a mystery.[QUOTE

Unlike Amazon…I know my car has been shipped but best guess as to where it is, is it’s somewhere between here and Hermosillo
