CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

Thank you!! I didn’t have the Norfolk info and that’s the one I needed! It arrived in Oregon today!

I got the TTGX... number from my dealer this morning. I called the number above for NS Norfolk Southern and it isn't working; either rings forever or disconnects immediately.

Might just be a temporary thing or maybe number changed or something ?‍♂

I also called the CSX number and they stated that the car was "empty and released by customer" sometime last month with no additional info. No luck finding it so far.

Did you try Union Pacific? Whatever info I was getting from Norfolk that I thought was my car was incorrect. Union Pacific worked for me in the end.

Hey digging up an old thread here because I might be the least patient person in the world.

Do these numbers still work? Also whats the rail car number on the sticker again?

I've tried just about everything I can think of. Best I can tell the rail car number is the number in the upper left corner of the window sticker. I've tried using that number for CSX and Union-Pacific. Haven't tried Norfolk-Southern yet though

Edit: My dealer thankfully gave me the rail car number and it has crossed the border, not too far from SD now.

And for anyone else reading this later on, you can not access the rail car number on the sticker...makes sense right? Have to get it from the dealer.

Glad I could help. My car just made the move from Nogales, MX to Nogales, AZ overnight, hopefully you’re seeing more progress

Yea…you say ttgx…the system thinks you said be vee x…then if you don’t say it quick enough it cuts you off.

There’s an art to saying it well enough and quick enough.
