So, the truck tracker continued to show āInactiveā (and still does) and yet, I checked the Ford tracker and it showed that it was at the dealer š Sure enough, I drove by on much lunch break and it was there. I think I may have made my husband deaf when I screamed while we were on the phone. š
Same here. My estimated delivery from Ford is 04/01 - 04/07 but itās been sitting at the rail yard 45 minutes away for 7 days. Iād be shocked if it was delivered to the dealer by the 7th. I may text the guy and ask him what the visibility report now shoes because the trucking company shows it...
I think our orders, timing and location are similar except Iām on the east coast. My OB was dropped at the last rail location last week and hasnāt been to the dealer yet. The rail said āTaft Floridaā and when I Google that along with āCSXā it shows as Apopka. How did you know your last rail...
Was this at a dealer or different place? Two different local places have quoted me $2,000 just for the outside ceramic coating. š³ Iām in Central Florida, so love bugs.
I have the same thoughts and question. If we pull the trigger, we want to do it before we take delivery so we donāt have to bring it back. Our friend/dealer said itās an all day process.
My OB will be in soon so we were at the dealer this morning speaking to our trusted friend who works there (heās been in the business for 30 years). I know he wouldnāt recommend things that he wouldnāt get himself, but I wanted to see if anyone here has any experience adding the SurfaceCare...
For those who have actually tracked their BS by rail like meā¦
I believe mine has been delivered to the last rail stop and is going to be waiting for a truck to pick it up to drive 45 minutes to my dealer. The most recent update is it being delivered to that place I assumed was the last rail and...
Mine is on CSX in Georgia and for a week it said delivery to the last rail stop (less than an hour from me) was the 29th and last night it switched to April 7th ? Iām guessing the rail in Georgia is backed up, unfortunately. Iām just hoping that when it gets to Florida, it wonāt sit there for a...
That is what Iām thinking is going on, but in Georgia. Sounds like the same situation as yours, unfortunately. Oh well - itās closer to being here now than it was in January when we ordered it so I canāt complain!
I would have thought that, too but where itās at is like 9 hours away and the rail update has it going to and being delivered to another rail stop in Florida (not far from me). So, where itās at isnāt the last rail stop. What changed is the delivery date to the last rail stop thatās not even an...
For those of you who have tracked your BS on the rail, has anyone had theirs get almost there and then the delivery date change quite a bit? Mine was showing a delivery date to its final rail stop as tomorrow morning (and that hadnāt changed) and now that itās at the final city before it gets to...
Someone on a forum posted the numbers and instructions. I tracked mine on Union Pacific (the first out of Mexico) and now on CSX. I call about once a day. It went way north (Ohio) to go south to Florida. Pretty interesting how all of that works.
The CSX update said Taft Florida. Googled it and the only one that pops up is in Apopka. Hoping thatās true because we are under an hour from there on the east coast.
Delivery timeframe of April 1 - April 7. Called today and itās been delivered to Ohio this morning with an ETA to the major hub in Florida on March 28th in the morning. We shall see if that sticks and how long it takes to arrive by truck to the dealer thatās an hour away.
We sat with our salesman/friend at the dealership and he entered the order into the computer, took our deposit money and said heād hit enter. Sounds like he literally did because the communication from Ford came within 30 minutes of that.
Did you try all of the different rails? Union Pacific, CSX and Norfolk Southern? UP appears to be the first pick up (at least it was for mine and according to the rail maps that I googled), and now itās with CSX headed to Illinois (I live in Floridaā¦I guess it has to go north to go south based...
