Wow. I've been curious how consumer reports would rate the BS. That is indeed harsh.
I read through the full Consumer Reports review - the 2 is based on initial recalls that came out earlier this year. I expect it would tick up once there's enough on the road to bring real data in. Also hello! First post - waiting on a silver BS Badlands that needs a chip.

Anyone hear anything response-wise from this poster? Crickets for me... I still seem to be in build purgatory for my BB. "In production" since 7/26.

No 360 on my order. Have all my chips in ETIS. Moon roof, CMS holding me up? I wouldn't know... about to consult my magic 8 ball - ouija boards freak me out.
I did. Got a case number assigned and was told someone would contact me by email. Got an email from someone who was clearly out sourced over seas and was told to contact the dealer.......as if the dealer can tell you exactly whats going on. You wont get anywhere.

Actually per Ford and one of the admins at blueovalforums the dealer has everything available in the visibility report. Some don't try hard enough or don't know what they are doing. Push the dealer push the manager...they have access. This is some of the information
"Your Dealer is the best source for detailed information via the Vehicle Visibility system which is now displaying notices for produced vehicles being held due to the microchip shortage. They can provide you with a copy of the report showing the notice for your vehicle. Ford is doing everything they can to address the microchip shortage for vehicles being held but there's little if anything that can be done at the dealership level other than providing you with the latest information available from Ford."

I'll join the crowd of "happy customers"
Made my bi-weekly call to Ford Marketing this AM to check on my order since I have never received an E Mail from Ford and little from my dealer.
My order is still in "Order Accepted Status" and I am not scheduled for production yet.
The pleasant voice suggested that I check back in a couple of weeks.
She did ask if my order was for a 2021 model.

BL/BL ( includes moonroof ) ordered 18 March +360, tow, Falken tires, Crypto Orange
I have had a VIN for a couple of months, but have never gotten into production.

Same here. I got a case number but haven't heard any update beyond that.

So after weighing my options, looking at alternatives, and seeing the way things are going I decided to buy out my current lease. Doing the math and taking to my credit union it made sense, and I got a decent loan through them so it ended up working out. Plus Nissan stopped allowing 3rd party buyouts so that left me in a bit of a tough spot. I'm way over my allowed miles so no matter what I couldn't just turn the car in.

With it now being 9 days into August and no change to my order status, I've decided if nothing changes by the 30th I'm going to order a 22. If I can get in on it quick maybe I could get it by the end of the year. We'll see what happens I guess.

Ford is lucky I'm dead set on a BS otherwise I would've bailed months ago.

Good luck. If I didn't love the BS as much as I do, I would of bailed out long ago. You can't wait when you need a car to drive.

I got my window sticker today! what does it all mean. is there a key on the forum to all the codes on here?
Also, people have talked about tracking that show their cars waiting for chips. Where is this info coming from? Can anyone point me to some additional information.

I belive that is the Ford Etis site you're looking for (?). Click on the Vehicle tab at the top left and enter your VIN and Order #. If you have a link that shows up that says PTI Information, select that. If dont see that, check back. I am going from memory. I can send you a snippet if needed.

https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do

Enter your VIN, if View PTI Information is visible, click on it then view "PTI related Electronic Control Units Installed on this VIN", all the modules should show with no NULLS.

And the upside you will likely sell your leased vehicle quickly and turn profit if things continue this path. It's a win win. And yes dead set is good...it's a great vehicle and worth the wait personally

Yes. I sent Ford a PM and they responded. He took some info from me and generated me a case #. Today I received a call from Ford customer service. She said she was from their Bronco specialist team and all she was able to tell me is what I already know which is my BS ordered in Feb has been produced but is waiting on a chip. When I asked how come people that have ordered months after me are getting shipping notices she said she had no idea.

So no help but at least the guy here did what he said he would do which was to pass my info along to someone that could possibly give me more details. Even though I gained no new insights into my order I do appreciate him responding.

He just got back to me. So I apologize for my insinuation. Appreciate this guy (@Ford Motor Company) doing what he can for those of us in limbo, and/or with questions.
