I did some self-inflicted damage over the weekend, going over a rock on the driver side. Luckily that was while backing out, ie at low speed. Tore up that flimsy underbody cover (not sure what it's called) at about front driver door half point. I had to cut out a small piece of it entirely as...
I discovered a tiny chip the inside of the windshield on driver side the other day. There's absolutely no way that's my doing. It hasn't been serviced yet, just the new tires installed a couple of months ago and safety inspection done early on. Gotta be factory issue as I have no other explanation.
I agonized between Falken A/T and AT3w. Went from 225 Pirellis to 225 Falken A/T. They ride just as quiet as OEMs. Honestly, I hadn't noticed any difference in the ride quality. I'm pleased. HTH.
Right. I was digesting the replies last night thinking the same thing, which I forgot to mention - if it just turned back to the previous setting after taking over and fixing whatever needed fixing I would've been all set.
Must be Ford thing. As I said before, that's my first Ford. That particular "feature" or more like a constant annoyance still gets me all the time.
Thanks for all the replies.
Mine is 2021 YM. I see it there now. This feature's totally caught me off guard. I'm used to being able to control all the aspects of air flow in manual mode. I guess climate control nanny knows better. ? Thanks. for pointing it out.
Could somebody explain to me how to keep recirculated air from turning itself off please? No matter which mode I use, automatic or manual control that is, recirculated air switches off after a while. Went over the manual. Seems like automatic climate control is the only mode when recirculated...
I mostly listen through Android Auto and had noticed occasional audio hiccups like that too. I attributed that to wire connection issue but I guess it may not be it. I have Badlands with upgraded speakers.
Started hearing similar noise from the day one of ownership. This is my first car with turbo engine. I assumed that all that extra air supplied to the engine is what was making all those unfamiliar noises.
I've had a similar issue with a different and older vehicle, just during the summer. Took me a while to figure out why I was getting condensation on the windshield and connect the dots. Not until I had noticed wet carpet. Turns out it was clogged up sunroof drains.
I also had windshield...
Went with 225/65R17 Falken A/T Trail in the end (not the AT3W ones). Several minor reasons had swayed me to Falken. I really didn't feel strongly about one brand vs the other tbhwy.
