Get and install the Aeroskin II. It completely changes the airflow and those little rocks don't even hit the windshield. After I installed it, I went from bugs everywhere to only an occasional smear.
It looks cool too.
I've had my OBX for about 18 months, and I really loved it. But, It's always bothered me that when I back-up at night, the license plate lights completely flair out the back-up camera, even when the camera lens is spotlessly clean. I don't know why this took me so long to figure out, but I...
more than 10mm change in offset, and 1.5" wider tire completely changes the steering geometry. My guess is you'll get more noise and feel it when you go around curves at speeds, and have a different feel on hard turns, even with power steering.
The wheels look cool though.
Yes. The low setting on the OB is about the same as high was on my Subaru Crosstrek and hotter than my Girlfriends CRV on high.
Dealer says that it is in spec, but we can't use them.
I've had my OB for 18 months and driven 14,000 miles. Just two oil changes; no other service. I love it. My only complaint is that the seat heaters are too hot to use.
It drives great and handles any weather or road conditions. It's very comfortable on a long drive. Tows like there's nothing...
File the claim. IT happened in a parking lot to your car while you were away. The claim will not effect your rates. Never avoid filing a comprehensive claim because it is no reflection on you or your driving ability. Collision claims, when you are in the moving car, are a different story
One more thing for others who want to try this. There's lots of airbag stuff in those a pillars. You can't just set them aside. You have to sort of manipulate them out of the way and work around them. Also the tweeter wires are really short.
It took me way longer to do the tweeters than it did...
