Anyone change their oil on a 2025 and can confirm the oil capacity is 5.0qt? I looked through the manuals online and it looks like it's been 6.6qt and 5w20 since 2022. 2025 says 5.0qt and 0w20.

1.5L2025 vehicles are equipped with the new MPC engines. These are a redesigned engine. Which engine do you have, 1.5L or 2.0L?
Right, a quick initial google search had a lot of discrepancies so I had to look at the previous years manuals to compare. Do you happen to know if it’s still a plastic pan? I will verify with the drain and check the levels when the time comes. It’s the wife’s car that was purchased last week and it has about 200 miles on it so I have a ways to go. It got new tires today and I’m deciding on a lift kit soon. I just started looking into the maintenance schedule out of curiosity to get an idea. I also have a decent amount of oil for my other cars and was curious if I was dipping into that stash. The first gen Sports ('21-'24) got a mid-build change and the regular oil pan was replaced with a plastic pan. The plastic pan engines have a higher capacity. To compound the issue, I think some early versions of the manuals stated the wrong capacity.
As said previously, the 2025 engine is a different design and only comes in one capacity. So I think you can trust the 5qts if that is what the guide says. If you're changing it, I would go ahead and get a 5qt jug and an extra 1qt. It won't hurt to have a quart on hand to top it off down the road. Check how much you drain and the dipstick when you refill. Run it to fill the filter and gallery and recheck it. That will verify the right amount.
I changed mine last week (for the first time) and after a frustrating search for the proper capacity, I went to my dealer and they confirmed it was 5 qts. I have a 2025 built in Jan of this year. I'm now searching for the air filter since the autozone book has a completely different air filter listed (STP) than the one thats in the car.Anyone change their oil on a 2025 and can confirm the oil capacity is 5.0qt? Will look into it. It does look like 0w20 was only the rec in previous years for cold climates which doesn’t apply to me. I will probably do a couple oil analysis to see how this car does as well.I don’t have a link, but I read an article that talked about 0 20 oil being used to meet epa standards in the United States and 5 30 oil used everywhere else. I think if they called for 0 20 oil I would check what they use for my engine in other countries and go for the thicker stuff.
All I know is I have a 2024 BSBL, it states: (usa) 5.5 quarts 5W30 recommended.Anyone change their oil on a 2025 and can confirm the oil capacity is 5.0qt? I looked through the manuals online and it looks like it's been 6.6qt and 5w20 since 2022. 2025 says 5.0qt and 0w20.
This isn’t the article I read, but it covers the same subject https://www.slashgear.com/1932391/how-oem-oil-recommendations-influenced-by-epa-according-to-expert/Will look into it. Just did my first oil change today on our '25 1.5L (@2k km), fill cap says 0w20 and the 5qt oil jug i filled it with was just so full I bet the factory put 5L in rather than 5qt, lol.Curious, those of you who have a 2025 with the 1.5L, what weight is shown on your oil fill cap?
My 2025 BL with the 2.0L has 5W-30 marked even though the manual says 0W-20 as I explained before.
