I bought the ones from Ford, with their 15% discount, in the app. A little pricey but looks great. Super easy installation! I did it dry, as per the instructions that came with them.

ReversibilityCan I ask a question out of (or showcasing) my ignorance?
Is there any thought to actually painting the face of the lettering, rather than using decals or overlays?
My wife has done some crafting, and I'd think that with the right paint, a dry brush technique might provide an acceptable solution?
I'm sure there are plenty of reasons why it would not be an optimum solution, but and curious.

Tell me more about "plastidip"I had the overlays for years. Wanted to get rid of the white outline. I used plastidip on them months ago and like it much better.
It looks and applies like a spray paint can, forms a removable film. Super easy: Mask box around all of the letters, apply 4 to 8 coats and peel off the film around the letters from on the body. Film stays on letters, but can be peeled off later if you want.Tell me more about "plastidip"
I would try Hyperdip / plastidip. You don't need any technique at all (except not over spraying so there's drips). Just spray all over and peel off what's on the car body. Film stays on the letters until you want to remove it.Can I ask a question out of (or showcasing) my ignorance?

Think I'll go this route. Looks great, good quality. A higher cost but I'm ok with that. I have no intention of going back to white letters so this will be a permanent change.I bought the ones from Ford, with their 15% discount, in the app. A little pricey but looks great. I originally got the stickers and they worked great for a while but after time they started fading a little and coming up on the very ends of the letters. Recently bought the letters that go over the original letters and I like them better.I bought a 2025 white Badlands and have a question for those who have done this.
I want some contrast between the white BL and the white letters on the rear hatch. I'm keeping the grille letters white.
What was your preference, overlays or decals and why?
Obviously, the decals are cheaper, but I'm concerned with the durability.
What product did you go with and are you satisfied with it?
