Much appreciated! I'd been looking at overlays, but I would much rather do this.
You have to check the shipping cost. Some Ford parts dealers have ridiculous shipping costs.

You'll probably do the Bronco letter overlays after you install the emblem. I wasn't going to add the black Tuffskinz but did after while to match. :)

That's the plan! I'm envisioning a black/gray theme. I'm debating doing the Tuffskinz or just vinyl overlays. I like how the Tuffskinz look in photos, but do they make the letters look too bulky in person? It's hard for me to tell. Are they tough to get on straight? I've seen some fantastic looking installs, and I've seen some that didn't come out so well.

I'm guessing you essentially have to break the tabs on the old Ford badge to get the new one on. Any advice besides heat gun, pry tool and be careful?

Hair blower and not too much heat with a plastic pry tool with tape on the end. I broke on e of the tabs. No big deal. Then clean off glue. Goes on without any problem with alignment with the tabs and holes.

The Tuffskinz are very nice. Letters don't look bulky to me. They were a bit thinner than I expected. 10-15 minute install after cleaning letters with alcohol. I found matching the white top area left with each letter made for a pretty easy and quick install. On a dark color, the white framing around the letters looks great to me.

I’d like to wash mine today, but they’re forecasting rain for the next three days.
I did a ceramic coating on mine on 9/5, and it hasn't rained since. I haven't even had to wash my Bronco since, and it almost looks like I have. We get a ton of salt up here in NY in the winter, so I'm hoping that helps a bit by rinsing the car down during the winter.

Today I drilled some holes in my Bronco!

After some trial and error driving around town, I concluded that my cell phone's image stabilization and cheap mount was not good enough. I plan on doing the Bronco Off-Rodeo to Moab sometime in the Spring and some other adventures that I'd like to video. After looking at action cameras for a week I decided to pick one up.

I ordered a couple of items to redo my dash mount, but wound up going another way today after looking through the leftover GoPro mounts I had in the garage. Sold the GoPro a couple of years ago.

I found this and thought....Hmm

Strange, but it's a perfect fit in the grill, and there is literally nothing behind the plastic to damage or interfere with the mounting hardware. I would have rather used black hardware, but all I had was some stainless steel bolts, washers, and nylon lock nuts in the exact size I needed. The plastic panel on the inside of the grill is actually pretty thick and sturdy. I used some oversized washers on the inside to strengthen the mount.

The end result feels sturdy enough. I do have a protective frame to put around, the camera and will most likely use a short lanyard just in case. If all else fails I did get the 2yr accidental damage warranty....lol

I still haven't taken it on a test run yet, but will test both the grill and dash mounts to see which POV I like the best.
