After almost 2 years of trouble free ownership of our 2023 1.5 liter Outer banks Bronco sport, we decided to trade it in on a new 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X.

While it gave us no trouble during ownership, we wanted something with more interior space. We tried real hard to work a deal on the full size Bronco, two Local Ford dealerships could not make it happen; even with employee pricing, both added silly market value price increases, or dealer installed options we did not want.

Great folks here on this site. I will continue to check in periodically.

Florida dealers are notoriously bad about that. You might have considered an out of state dealer like Granger or Long McArthur.

Not sure I would trust any Stellantis product, hope you get the unicorn of the bunch!

Well, Ford is not a bed of roses either...too bad they did not want our business.

Having a full size Bronco as well I can say if you were looking for an SUV then getting the Jeep Cherokee was a better choice over the full size Bronco, they really are apples and oranges.

I like the changes Jeep made to the styling on these. Good luck and enjoy your new car!
Thanks, The wife is very happy with the color and having a sun roof again!

My dealer sent a letter offering a buyback on a new vehicle for only $2k less than I purchased it for almost 2 years ago. I might be cRAzY, but I'm not stupid so I'm in the process of ordering a new F150, Reg Cab, Short box V8. It will the first time in my life I didn't just buy something off some lot but ordered specifically what I wanted. Merry Christmas to me!!

I had to look up a build. At 48k, it’s not much more than a fully equipped Sport. It’s hard to believe my 1995 Lightning had a sticker price of 19K and my 22 BSBL had a sticker around 36k or so. Pretty crazy that destination charges for a F150 is 2.6K. Does bring back good memories. The only issue I had was the seat wouldn’t go back far enough to be really comfortable. It had really high bucket seats which cut down on how far they could go back.

I’m guessing yours will be fine. Even my father’s 1999 was better than mine. They put heavily bolstered seats in the Lightning which when tilted back at the degree I liked, the headrests hit the rear window so I ended up sitting more upright than I liked.
