Just picked up my new 2025 BS BB last week and as many of you know , it came with a 12V tire pump but without a spare tire, jack or lug wrench. The Ford dealer wanted about $700 to $800 (Can) to supply a mini - spare rim, tire and jack hardware ! A local tire shop suggested I try to find a mini - spare and hardware from an auto recycler.

My question for the forum > Is the bolt pattern the same for all Bronco Sports ('21 to '25) ? This would help in locating these items .

Many thanks

You can find mini spares by the handfuls on EBay for 100-150. I replaced my full size spare with the same rim and tire so I could rotate it with my normal rotations. The spares should come with the TPMS as well. Looks like some come with the jack as well.

I got my mini spare on eBay, also. $99 with a jack. The bolts line up visually. I have not tried it on yet. Of course, this is a piece of mind thing. The only spares I have ever used were on vehicles in the over-20-year-old club. Also, if you live in a place like Hawaii, you should be changing your tires every 6 years, regardless of wear due to sun rot. Honestly, I do not expect to ever need this spare. But if I do, I should be able to make it to a shop.

Thank you sir, you have saved me hundreds of $$$ on a spare tire !

So Ford supplied my new BS with a tire inflator and sealant but in the "Supplemental Owners Guide" that came with the car it says "The use of tire sealants can damage the tire pressure monitoring system " !!

I think I will order a mini spare and jack hardware ASAP !

Cheers

If you're going to get a spare, why not try and find a full size wheel? Check ebay and junkyards. It's likely that some will have a few.

The size. A full spare will push that thin wheel cover in the back way up. Otherwise, you have to mount it outside. That seemed awkward, too.

Won't the 225/60-R17 tire and wheel fit wit the thin cargo cover?

Full size fits fine in the well. The cargo mat goes in the higher position. Also, I had to make a 3D printed nut to hold the wheel down.
