Ford Bronco Sport JUST RELEASED: Stage Series SSC1 Fog Light Kit for 2021 Ford Bronco Sport! | Diode Dynamics kCtFO3

Diode Dynamics is excited to introduce our Stage Series SSC1 LED Fog Light Kit for 2021 Ford Bronco!

Upgrade the fog lights on your 2021 Ford Bronco Sport with our SSC1 LED Fog Light Kit! Featuring custom-engineered TIR optics combined with an Osram Boost HX 20W LED chip, this is the ONLY kit on the market to provide SAE-compliant, road-legal light output! With the included custom bracket with bezel, the SSC1 Fog Light Kit has a clean, factory-style appearance, only much brighter!

Focused: Most LED pods on the market, even certain premium options, use outdated technology like reflectors or simple lenses that lose light internally and to glare. By comparison, our custom-engineered total internal reflection (TIR) optic in the SSC1 collects all of the light from the LED chips, drastically reducing wasted light and improving total efficiency.

From there, while other options on the market lose as much as 10% of the light output shining through an outer lens, the custom-molded TIR optic in the Stage Series C1 serves as both the optic and main lens for greater efficiency and light output (patent pending). Thanks to this innovative feature, when coupled with high-intensity LED chips, the total intensity of the SSC1 is much greater than other LED pods using basic optics or reflectors with a standard outer lens.

SAE Compliant. All Stage Series beam pattern options were designed with optical simulation modeling, to shape the output in a highly-functional beam pattern.

  • SAE Fog provides an extremely wide field of view, with high-intensity output over an entire 80-degree spread. When installed as a pair and aimed in accordance with your state's regulations, it meets the SAE J583 standard as a Foglamp for legal on-road use, and will fully illuminate the area in front of your vehicle.

White or Yellow. All Stage Series LED pods are available in a cool white or selective yellow color. The white is a 6000K color temperature, which is a true cool white output, and matches most factory LED lighting. The selective yellow is a 3000K color temperature, great for high contrast in poor weather or a distinctive look on the road.

Backlight Functionality. The Stage Series C1 LED Pod includes a distinctive backlight feature, in a brilliant amber color. The SSC1's backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing unique accent lighting that you won't find in other single-LED pods on the market. This allows you to double the functionality of your setup, by adding an accent light as well as a main beam!

Plug and Play. Thanks to custom-molded brackets, the SSC1 Fog Light Bracket Kit can be installed on your vehicle in minutes. Simply remove your factory fog light assembly and ours will bolt right in its place! Two H11-size DT adapter wires are included with the kit, allowing you to connect the lights to your factory bulb sockets - no additional wiring needed!

Each kit will include:
  • Two (2) SSC1 standard LED pods
  • Two (2) T-taps
  • Two (2) H11 DT 4-Pin adapters
  • Two (2) Type FBS brackets
  • Mounting hardware
Note: This kit is a replacement for OEM fog lamps. If your vehicle does not have fog lamps, additional hardware and wiring may be needed for installation.

Proven Reliability: Stage Series LED lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. All of these tests are completed to SAE standards, just like factory components. They've also been put to the test on-road by racers and enthusiasts alike.

Why would you want amber? Wouldn't it be less bright?
The main beam is offered in 3000K selective yellow or 6000K cool white on the SSC1 LED pod apart of this kit.

The selective yellow is great for high contrast in poor weather or a distinctive look on the road.

The amber color output is an additional backlight feature that functions as an additional running light when the main beam isn't in use.

When it comes to raw output. The 6000K cool white is going to be the higher performance option compared to 3000K selective yellow.

When I was in France about 12 years ago they all drove around with amber fog lights and harassed non French tagged vehicles ( —--) . I guess that was their thing. Also sort of nice if your trying to find friends at a campground and either you or them have amber lights and it’s pitch dark. Easier to spot then just regular lights cool lights. Ditto for early morning and dusk runs in the dunes or out in the desert hightailing it, running ambers?

Specifically, those were selective-yellow, but usually achieved with incandescent lamps and selective-yellow filters. Really really inefficient.

Europe also have "lampes de ville" (City Lights) which are not quite DRLs, they're usually a separate smaller lamp that illuminates the main headlamp reflector-buckets off-center, so they glow rather than shine.

The contrast dd speaks of in fancy terms- amber light is typically better in heavy fog, dust, etc... the pod set up on my nudge bar is outer 2 off road inner two amber - south texas (near the coast) has a lot of fog and a lot of dust lol

- I will need additional wiring and switches because I’m not upgrading existing fogs but starting from scratch !
Oh really ? So what am I missing?
Hey guys!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. If you're Bronco Sport is not equipped with fog lamps from the factory. This kit will work with your vehicle, however, you will need an additional wiring harness.

The additional wiring harness required is our Heavy Duty Dual Output 4-pin Wiring Harness. You simply will need to plug in the DT connector to the back of your SSC1 LED pods, obtain power and ground, and route your toggle switch through your firewall into the cab of your Bronco Sport.

I have the Yellow Diode Dynamics Fogs installed, unfortunately I don’t have any pictures of the Fogs running yellow, but I have pictures of other Diode Dynamics yellow lights running for context, and a picture of the amber backlights running. The fog kit comes with a three position switch (Backs, Off, Fogs) and instructions for wire tapping if you want the backlights to be automatic (instructions are to tap into the side markers for backlights). Good news is the product is designed to auto-off the backlights when the main fogs get power so you don’t get any tomfoolery with overloading circuits if you have them both on an aux switch box. Pic 1 shows DD fog pattern yellow on my quad fronts and on the Ditch Lights, Pic 2 is an internal shot of DD yellow fogs on my driving lights (which are brighter than the SSC1 Fogs) and Pic 3 shows the backlights

beauty! So toget them back to the 6000k you just cycle power with fog light switch?
Ah, there in lies the problem. The dogs either come in 6000K with Amber backlight or 3000k with Amber backlight, there is not one that switches from 3000K to 6000K

@Diode Dynamics The bumpers and screw holes and foglight cutout shape are different on the 2025 bronco sport than the 21-24 bronco sport. Do you have fog lights that will actually fit and bolt on to a 2025 bronco sport?
