Mice have been getting into glove compartment. Also finding insulation and papers in my AC and heat vents ?????

I had mice in my BB, under the dirvers seat (never had this in any other vehicle before) called insurance comany and they had a specialist contractor pull everything apart, check, clean and sterilize eveything!! Then put it all back together with many new parts, flooring, insulation, rear seat etc....LOTS of labour!!!!
After that, no issues since...and that peppermint spray seems to work great!

We live in a relatively rural area near farm land. Seeing mice in the house in the winter used to be common. One of our neighbors now has a free-range cat. I haven't seen a live mouse for several years. Seen quite a few dead ones--Rikki likes to leave trophies on the porch.

We were rat free for a couple years; guess they’re back now, semi-wild cat has caught two large and several baby rats in the past two weeks. Fortunately, so far none have been near where the BS is parked but I’m watching.
urbanite here. I had a rat sleeping on the (coveted) engine cover while back. thankfully no nesting. my buddy with a Land Rover had birds nesting with eggs, chicks etc. in his grill. his service tech found the second nest during one of those video-recorded services. it was funny to hear the moral conflict in the tech's voice over disposing or not.
