Don't like the outside looks of it but the inside looks nice but you're paying for it not me. :) :)Does it have the 226 or 277 Horsepower engine in it?

Shopped around while the Bronco was in the shop for recall and windshield. It's been a decent vehicle. Tired of excessive road noise and vibrating hood though. Hyundai dealer was next door. Never in my life did I contemplate a Hyundai. Found a new Santa Fe Ultimate Calligraphy edition. Blown away by the "bang for the buck". Virtually the same price as a new Badlands. Optional features incredible. Cooled seats, heated power reclining rear seats, 6 passenger is a bonus. 21 inch wheels , automatic power liftgate, dual wireless phone charging and much more. Here's hoping it is as reliable as the Bronco was.

My mom has (what I think is a 2016) Santa Fe and it is such a great vehicle. The amount of tech you get for that price is awesome and she hasn’t had a single issue with it. I can only imagine what the newer ones have to offer!

I’m sorry you had a bad experience with your Bronco Sport but congratulations on the new car!

Many people forget how fast things change in the automotive market these days. The difference in features, capabilities, performance, safety, etc. between vehicles just five design years apart is astounding.

Don't forget the Bronco Sport has been on the market now for four model years, which mean its design was finalized at least five years ago. That's a lot of time for innovation in the age of computer- and AI-aided design.

Good luck. I do not like the looks of the exterior or interior, not for me.

Have never owned one but I think they are decent vehicles. I have read about the DCT problems.

Would I consider buying a Hyundai or Kia, sure thing. Great value for the money. I hope that they have sorted out the tranny problems.

On some of their SUV's they have placed the turn signals in the lower rear bumper which I find absolutely stupid. Can't remember if it's Kia or Hyundai. JMO

Also, I’d stay away from those Costco curbs, 21 inch wheels are great for making quick turns to avoid those curbs, but not so good at hitting them either direct or from the side! ?
Sounds like experience talking! Enjoy your new wheels. Kinda looks like a space ship. Warning: White leather = No cheetos while driving. Also experience talking!

I drove off a curb in a 1947 Chevy with 16" wheels. It nicked the oil drain plug and caused a leak. I decided I'd drive around the next time.

I've read about a lot of issues with the BS transmission on this forum. It is a little worrisome. I bought my Badlands for the off road capability, and I've very happy with it.

Thanks, 277 hp. 6 passenger was a big selling point for my wife. Have 8 grandkids. The technology is impressive, dual wireless phone chargers, Heads up display, "follow me " feature on fob moves the vehicle in and out of driveway or parking spot. Auto power liftgate, just stand behind it for 3 seconds. Hopefully it's reliable. If not, it'll go away quickly. Not the first or last time I'll have made a mistake. :)

Thanks. I would say it was a bad experience, minor annoyances mostly. Overall it was decent. The back story is we originally ordered a loaded 2 door full size Bronco in Cyber Orange. It took about 16 months to get built. (and I was a Ford dealer at the time). We couldn't wait any longer and purchased the sport of another dealer since we had sold our business and retired. My wife still really liked the Sport but wanted a little more seating capacity. Cheers.

Good luck @Dantanman and congrats on the new car.

We're getting to be in a similar boat. The conversations here lately have gone from her saying "I'm keeping this forever" to "how long are we holding onto this damned thing?"

We're getting gremlins throughout, Sync is buggy, won't upgrade properly off the thumb drive, the screen randomly goes dead, and the other day the reverse cam stayed on in drive for a full 20 minutes from my office to my house. Touch to open randomly stops working, the seat memory return doesn't always work... and the transmission is shifting rough at under 18K miles and just over a year of ownership.

Problem is neither of us can decide on what to trade it on. Love the looks, it meets our needs perfectly but not impressed by Ford build quality in the least. Second choice last year was an Outback. Might have made the wrong decision.

Nobody said they were special. It's a forum to discuss owners opinions and choices. Cat lady suv? That just condescending for no reason whatsoever. Unfortunate you have absolutely nothing constructive to add to a conversation.
