bike rack

There are a bunch of different mount options:

• Roof
• Interior
• Liftgate
• Hitch

Which are you considering? If you have a hitch that will be the easiest to use. Next easiest would be interior mounting, but that will limit your cargo space. Roof racks are problematic for these cars; they're tall! My last-resort option would be one that straps to the liftgate--these are a PITA to install and remove.

If you are just transporting one bike, Interior mounts are pretty awesome. They keep the bike out of the weather and safe from any sort of theft. I have a Large frame dual suspension and it fits with the front wheel off and seat down without issue.

I purchased the "sloggin" base recently, in order to haul my cooler, but they have multiple different attachmnents, including a bike rack. It's multipurpose hitch storage.

It fits two road bikes just fine. The interior rack was the whole reason I got this car. Keeps my bikes safe and clean.

Here is my way of hauling. We still can get all of our stuff in the vehicle even with the bikes. Two roll board suitcases, several coolers, folding chairs, plus a bunch more. Just hope I never get a flat on the trip!
