I like it, it’s different that’s for sure.
I like the look. I don’t like the maintenance. If they aren’t expensive I’d do it if you like it. You can always remove it later. I’m OCD so constantly cleaning each honeycomb would wear on me. Rain isn’t going to wash away dirt/dust/pollen from the inside edges. It’s going to take some manual cleaning to get done.

Depending on just how far into the tropics you are, "washed by nature" could get pretty gross...

I don't think its going to be that big a deal to clean. A thick washmitt lathered in suds should be able to get into all the nooks and crannies.
