Ford Bronco Sport 2023 Road Trip 32 MPG @ 2598 Miles 2023 Road Tri

November 17 Summary: My wife and I are totally thrilled. The MPG exceeded the MPG of our previous vehicle, plus we are NOT required to use 91 octane (Premium) gasoline.

A smooth and solid suspension with comfortable interior and plenty of power on the highway and on the back-roads.

November 10 Start Time 8:25 AM

Late Sept we did a SC to my former state NJ trip. No issues and the BS performed better than I thought it would with power, MPGs, comfort etc.

I made the drive from St. Lucie area to Nashville recently and the average on my trip computer showed 34.1 Mpg. Isn't It awesome that these Bronco Sports with the 1.5 are getting such good gas mileage!?!?

Good MPG plus good acceleration, especially when there is a need.

Today, I’m at the farthest point of a road trip from NJ to FL. The only adventure (if it can be called one) along the way was some NASCAR moves with my OBX. A head shaker on why drivers in the center and right lanes travel at the same speed. Punched the pedal a few times in the left lane to pass said drivers. Downside is a reduced MPG. Anyway, 32 MPG over 1,098 miles is a good number, but 34 MPG is definitely better.
Yes I should have added that I had my cruise control set to 70 and pretty much drove the speed limit whatever it was the entire trip. And yes the drivers on I95 are crazy!

We've made three round trips from Florida to Wyoming on our '21 Big Bend. No issues other than having to buy new tires due to side wall punctures from some off road excursions through old deserted towns and mining sites. Two winter and one summer trip with no traction issues at all. Pretty happy with the vehicle overall.

NJ to FL is quite a haul. I've done it myself back in the day. Thing about driving to FL is when you cross the border you are only halfway there! Sorry for the reason, but glad to see you are making the best of it. Love my OBX. Super comfy, plenty of highway punch for me.

Time to make some fun memories!!
A question to the Ford Monitor… Why is there not a pull handle/lift on the drivers ? I previously had a 2013 Escape and it was there which I used as a brace for a closet rod to hold in place my hiking sticks and fishing rods.( Bronco Sport Big Bend 2023)
