I just want to upgrade my brake lights for now and wanted thoughts on what I am considering. Not sure what hyperflash is but is that something I should address before I think of upgrading to these.

hyperflash, as it applies to turn signals, means the LED bulb or tail light assembly could cause the turn signals to flash quickly.

Good LED bulbs or assemblies use a load resister to prevent this. In older times when LED bulbs came about to replace the filament type, you could also buy a LED flasher. This flasher worked with both LED and filament bulbs.

Fast forward to today, and most new vehicles are LED (except perhaps headlights), so the hyperflash would not be an issue.

Upgraded both the brake and backup lights in my '23 OBX to LED. No problem!

First thing I did after my purchase was replace the lights in the rear as they're the only non-LED lights on the car.

I went with Dynamic Diode for backup/tail and I got some on Amazon for the turn. Purchased the following:
Backup: https://www.diodedynamics.com/backup-leds-for-2021-2023-ford-bronco-sport-pair.html
Tail: https://www.diodedynamics.com/tail-light-leds-for-2021-2023-ford-bronco-sport-pair.html
Turn: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081YJ9FL6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I got the brightest ones. Haven't had any hyperflash issues and everything is BRIGHT AF!!!

Actually, I believe the stock taillights are already LED. The middle light bulb you listed is actually the stop / brake light bulb not a tailight.

I'll have to look back and check it out, my understanding was the only LED in the rear lights was the wraparound one.

That is correct. The bulb you are replacing is an incandescent, but I believe it just functions as a brake light and not a taillight. Check it out and correct me if I'm wrong.

Well I put the Sylvania LED stop light bulbs in from Advance Auto Parts and everything seemed normal until I turned on my turn signal and it was flashing fast inside. I pulled over and checked the outside and it was flashing normally. I know changing to the LED bulbs caused this and the description on Advance's website indicated some other device might be required to make them operate correctly. Would this other device help? Any thoughts.

Nope, you're right. My wording is just off. Diode Dynamics has them listed as tail/backup but in reality they are brake/backup lights. The "tail" mentioned in your post is the surrounding bulb and is indeed LED. You can see in your table the three rear bulbs that need to be replaced if you want All-LED in the BS :)

Canbus issues are relatively common when replacing turn signal bulbs. I apologize, I don't have any helpful information on how to get the bulbs you purchased working; I can only comment that the ones I purchased were relatively inexpensive and haven't had a single issue in my two+ years of ownership.

You need an inline resistor. I had to purchase inline resistors to prevent hyperflash when I changed to LED for the turn signal lights on my '19 Ranger. Diode Dynamics is good place to get the resistors. IMO, it might be cheaper to start over and get different LEDs that have Canbus built in.

I installed the Diode Dynamics XP80 LED bulbs for my brake lights and wow are they bright. My turn signals are not hyper flashing. Well worth the money! Yahoo!

I’m pretty sure the link you posted is for a headlight. I think these are what you want:
https://www.diodedynamics.com/tail-light-leds-for-2021-2023-ford-bronco-sport-pair.html
XP80 is Diode Dynamics Part number for their highest brightness LED brake light.
https://www.diodedynamics.com/3156-3157-xp80-tail-light-led-bulbs.html

I chose the HP11 LED bulbs from them, supposedly same brightness as the original halogen brake lights. I'm happy with them and they do appear brighter than the original brake lights.
