I got the TSB done a couple weeks ago, as I've had this rear back up noise in wet/cold conditions since the day it was new (dec 2020 built badlands). HOWEVER, the noise is still there, arguably worse to be honest. They replaced the rear caliper bushings (from TSB) after a month wait to get the parts. A bit frustrating but at least we've had zero other issues after 25k miles.

The rear brakes def grab more after the tsb. The BS used to move after putting in reverse on flat ground at idle. Now I have to give it gas before it pops free and then is fine after that. But if I stop fully and release the brake while still in reverse it won’t go until I tap the gas. If my explaining makes sense. The brakes def hold more and there’s more travel in the pedal than before. I have no noise so far in the rears. But only been fixed for a week. I don’t use brake hold or any other nannies.

I’ve had the groaning, too, when I reverse from my parking space! So embarrassing when my neighbors ask me what’s wrong with my car. ?

My 2021 Badlands has been doing it pretty much since when I got it, but intermittently, and I couldn’t put a specific time to it.

When I saw this string, I was relieved that it wasn’t just me! I went to my local Ford dealer in December, and they ordered the parts and were waiting on two little bolts on back order.

Fast forward, I’ve diligently followed up weekly so I can get this resolved since the sound is much more consistent and we’ve been having more cold weather lately.

So today, I just discovered that as as of last Friday, Ford dissolved their contract and the entire local dealership operation is closed! A dealership that’s been there over 60+ years!! Is this normal?

This is really a drag, considering the local dealership were expecting the parts and may well have received them— but I wouldn’t know since they got shutdown and it sounds like all the parts they had were sold off who knows where.

Ugh, now I have to find another dealer and shop to do it. I really hope it doesn’t take 2 more months.

Has anyone else experienced this, or has anyone else put in a request and not yet received the parts? Any thoughts welcomed. I’d really like to get this fixed and my car has just hit 16k miles.

btw- I do still love my Badlands sport.

Dealer I bought mine from just shut down and had been selling Fords forever.

I just accepted it...its a character of the car. Mine has done it since new. Once the car has been moving it doesn't do it anymore. I don't find it that much of a big deal to even take it to the dealer for that.

Hey there! I can look into your Bronco’s noise concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

Got this take of this morning. So glad that I won't have to hear that morning whale backing out of the driveway every day now!

Something is seriously wrong with our 2023 BS Outer banks. it has just over 900 miles on it, and no fuel leaks, no brake noise going in reverse, and I cannot for the life of me get the hood to flutter, even after installing the hood deflector with the lip.

I'm going crazy.

Brought in my BL today for service oil change basic stuff at about 50k out of warranty and mentioned the tsb for the rear breaks and was told there would be a 250 diagnostic charge to see what the issue is then figure out what to do. Supper loud in the morning since 10k miles. Also brought up sync going black and requires a different appointment. So I don’t know if my extended warranty covers it. Will go home and read fine print. MPP warranty.

I got tired of listening to it. Changed my rear pads a week ago. Have had no noise since.
I’m just getting ready to do the same. What pads did you use? Did you change the pins and bushings also?
Thanks
