I have done 2k miles in the past couple of weeks in all kinds of weather conditions. Drove home 12 hours in rain and plenty of wind. The BS felt fine with me, nothing at all alarming. Best of luck with the Mazda, overall it's a nice looking car. I owned a Mazdaspeed3 for years, never gave me trouble. Have fun with the Mazda and the horrendous non touch tiny infotainment system. I walked out of the dealer when I was cross shopping because of that infotainment system.

Went from a 00 Expedition to the Sport. Last time I drove on a windy day I recall thinking "wow this isn't fighting me nearly as much, must be because of the smaller surface area."

He's probably long gone. I had a Mazda RX-7 way back that I absolutely loved, so I'll always have a soft spot for the brand. I looked into that same SUV that the OP presumably traded in his Bronco Sport to get. All I can say is, choice and options are the spice of life, so more power to him, but as for me, I'm not sure I've ever sat in a more boring vehicle. No - scratch that - was also looking at Volvo XC40s at the time, and the Volvo was definitely more boring. But that Mazda was an uncomfortably close second. No thank you.

In my 45 odd years of driving I have driven jeeps, cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, big trucks and trucks with slide in campers. Here is what has worked for me. On windy days, slow down. When passing or meeting a semi the turbulence along with the wind can do strange things. When driving at night, slow down. You never know what is lurking in the ditch ready to run out in front of you. When driving in heavy rain, slow down. You don’t want to hydroplane towards that big truck you are meeting. When driving in snow or ice, slow down. You want to be ready if that vehicle you are meeting slides across in front of you. Leave a little early and adjust your speed to conditions. Above all arrive alive.

Does anyone else feel like the wind might just take your bs away. When im driving at higher speeds when windy this little sport sways everywhere. More than any vehicle i ever owned. Can almost compare to like a 2011 jeep grand cherokee my buddy had. But that was just jeep suspension i think. Any thoughts. Am i crazy

AGREED!!! I couldnt believe it, and anything and everything seems to push it. I never had that issue with any other car.

Try driving a decent sized RV in wind.....

You will end up breaking wind!
