  1. Beware of paint protection from the dealer.

I just took delivery of a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands from a dealership in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. I won’t name the dealer but those of you familiar with Saskatoon know there are two Ford dealers. One on the north end and one on the south, this was the south dealership. They are part of an auto...
  2. 32,000 miles - should i buy extended warranty?

My thought was, I have had my GMC for ten years and have not put more that 1K in repairs into it. One transmission control module at about 80 K. If this Bronco needs more than 4600.00 in repairs in it’s first ten years of use I probably should not have bought a Ford in the first place. In three...
  3. 32,000 miles - should i buy extended warranty?

My BS Badlands will be ready to pick up on Thursday. The finance guy asked me how long I planned on keeping it. When I told him I had had my GMC truck 10 years he came up with a nine year plan for $ 4600.00, I laughed and declined.
  4. Driving in wind (no good)

In my 45 odd years of driving I have driven jeeps, cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, big trucks and trucks with slide in campers. Here is what has worked for me. On windy days, slow down. When passing or meeting a semi the turbulence along with the wind can do strange things. When driving at...
  5. Third CEL

I had a 2005 GMC Sierra that went through O2 sensors as well. My dealer just kept replacing them. I was headed to Arizona to visit my parents and 1/2 way there I blew another one. I took it into the Dealer in Lake Havasu and the service rep asked me if I wanted them to update my computer. There...
  6. Hello New Owner in Saskatchewan!

Wow only two weeks by rail. I was thinking 4 at least. I am going to try and track mine while it is being shipped via the rail network with the auto rack number. By the time I figure out how to do that it may be here. I am curious as to what route it will take through the states. If it ends up...
  7. Hello New Owner in Saskatchewan!

Congratulations! I have a BS Badands sitting in Hermosillo right now waiting to be shipped to Saskatoon. I can’t wait. Did you order yours and if so were you able to track it during shipping?
  8. In production but no date showing

Yes and thanks you probably saved me a lot of time when I start to track mine. Hopefully Ferromex will show who they hand it off to. It would make things a lot easier.
  9. In production but no date showing

Which rail company did you end up tracking? BNSF ships in and out of Mexico, not sure if Ferromex would bring it to the border? Mine will eventually end up on CN into Canada/Saskatoon by the sounds of things. Should be fun trying to track it for sure.
  10. In production but no date showing

My BS Badlands that went into production on Jan 4th ( 8 days ago ) now shows todays date Jan 12 under “In production “ and as of this afternoon I can also see the list of ECM modules. At least I know it is alive. Hopefully it changes to Built in the next day or so.
  11. In production but no date showing

You guys are killing me. My BS Badlands was scheduled for production Jan 02/23 and went into production on Jan 4th. So far it has stayed in production. According to my window sticker I am build 991 of 2270. Canadians don’t receive emails from Ford so all I can do is refresh and wait and repeat.
  12. In production but no date showing

Mine shows in production as well as of Jan 4th 2023. It also says your order is being manufactured at one of our factories. This can take a few days. So all we can do is wait for it to show as built I guess.
  13. Do 2023s Come With Windshield Wiper De-Icing?

I have ordered a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands. It went into production yesterday Jan 4th, I ordered it Oct 16th. The window sticker is available now and it shows “ Windshield Wiper de-Icer “ Not sure if it is standard or added when the block heater is added. Until I read this thread I didn’t even...
  14. Notifications from Ford

Update my Bronco Sport Badlands went into production today Jan 4th. True to their word with a build week of 02/Jan.
  15. Ford # to check on production

You folks are lucky, Ford does not send email notifications to it’s Canadian customers. Even though we have had the inter web for years now.
  16. Order Track not working

I noticed last week the FORD.CA tracking in no longer working for my order. It comes up with a message that says unable to process this order please try again later. Has anyone else noticed this?
  17. Notifications from Ford

Thanks, now that I have the VIN it does show up as Order Confirmed. The printout I got from the dealer yesterday shows the estimated Build date. I won’t be upset if they don’t start it on Jan 2nd as some of the workers might have celabrated a little hard for New Years . LOL
  18. Notifications from Ford

I ordered a BS Badlands from a dealer in Saskatoon on Sept 16th. Since then I haven’t heard anything so I stopped in at the dealership this afternoon and talked to one of the salesman. He looked up the order and they have assigned a VIN and show a build date of Jan 2nd. Are Canadian customers...
