So does anyone have an idea where this is? (At least it's in IL now) per Ford Chat:
Your car is at "Junction Point in Gateway Yard, IL".

I think that's unlikely--they can't be repaired in a rail yard. Something like that would take a corporate fix and would be done at the dealer.
A while back some were in transit and flagged for brake recall. They got shipped to dealer where they sat waiting for parts.

I understand the driver shortage, but Ford is physically preventing these Bronco sports from being shipped from the rail yard even if they have truck drivers for them.
My Big Bend is sitting in Delaware ”on hold” while I watch other Ford vehicles being delivered to my dealer in Pennsylvania on a daily basis. Whatever the reason for the “hold” - it’s NOT because there is a driver shortage.

When I called United road, that is what they told me. They can’t ship the car to my dealer because Ford has put a hold on it. Ford customer service has also confirmed that Ford has put a hold on the car, but no reason for the hold has been given.
That's TOTAL BS and I don't mean Bronco Sport.

I've got you beat! Mine arrived about 15 miles from the dealership in Mesquite, Texas on 10/19. Looks like mine will be sitting for about 9 weeks before it makes its way to Grapevine.

so we really dont know what the hold up is but has anyone checked on other brands? such as chevy, dodge? toyota and see if they are having the same issues or is it a specific vehicle model that is the problem (i.e. bronco sport).....
if all car companies are having issues then its a bigger problem than just ford....
find the cause then we start pointing fingers...

It's definitely happening with Dodge as well. I drove a V8 Challenger for 7+ years prior to trading it on this Badlands and over on those forums people are experiencing the same type delays ordering Challengers... and it's going to be even more of a shitshow because 2023 is the final year.

I know a few people that have been waiting months for delivery with a completed car sitting at a yard somewhere. The higher trimmed Challengers are seeing more delays.

Oh most definitely. I don't have any regrets about leaving Dodge when I did. The Challenger was a great ride but I wanted to move on to a more off-road capable vehicle that could do well in the snow... and here I am. I love the look of the new Bronco's just as much as I loved the look of the Challenger. Sometimes manufacturers just get it right...

I wouldn't want to be ordering a '23 Challenger though. ??

I ordered my BS OB on 6/2/22. Had a minor issue with the original saleswoman. The GM of the dealership worked out a fair deal with me. I personally remember him looking me in the eye and saying delivery could take 4-6 months. On 12/2 it will be 6 months and on 12/3 I will start to get aggravated. My brother factory ordered a Kia K5 in June. He pulled up to my house in August with his factory ordered vehicle. I don’t know how true that all other manufacturers are dealing with this. The hardest part of this is I pass the rail yard on my way to work everyday in Buffalo. This is where my vehicle sits waiting to be delivered to the dealership.
I’m curious if the dealership was telling everyone 4-6 months for delivery? If so it appears that most of us will be outside that promise.

Could it be that they are sitting at the railyard because of the fuel pump recall and a lack of parts? If it’s delivered to the dealer, the dealer starts paying insurance on the vehicle while it sits on the lot and if Ford can’t get the part to the dealer to correct the recall that would mean the dealer starts eating that cost?
