i drove my 66 mustang to work today....something about driving the older cars and how they feel. raw. but i didnt mind it. no radio, no tech, no fancy gizmos....just pure driving.
hard to believe my 2012 boss 302 is 13yrs old! love that car.....
i test drove both back in 2022 and bought a 2023 BSBL 2.0
the 1.5 didnt work for me. if that was the only engine offered i might have gone elsewhere for another vehicle. if you want power to get on the highway or react in dangerous situations then go big..... i never had an issue with a larger...
hate to hear this and hope it doesnt come true...i tend to hold on to vehicles quite a long time....
i always wondered what would happen if i still had my 1994 mustang if it would run and if i could find the CPU for it when it goes or if i would have a permanent lawn ornament.....not like the...
so im waiting on a recall from ford for my 23 bronco...but nothing as of yet....other then the "first" software update for the battery thing...which i have not done.... told that a fix was coming but was waiting for the "official" letter before i did that....and any other recalls i get between...
im getting a bit concerned that all these transmission, battery, and Rear Dif issues are happening on a vehicle that has less than 100,000 miles on them....from what i hear in the forums, ford is sending out daily recalls to fix it, or it will cost you $10k in repairs.... this should never...
so been a long time posting here, but thought i would comment on the "touch screen" vs "buttons" debate. i would go 100% buttons and knobs! the computer screen is just a huge distraction for 99% of the driving population. i hear (in my area) where the majority of accidents is due to...
lots of good points here...but nothing that would make me buy 2nd BS over the 2 door Bronco....at this point. still looking at the 2 door for 25 now....once i see where finances fall.
i do like the upgrades to make it more "beefy" but agree that the ride height just seems like an...
so now that brings up another question....
if the battery is then replaced after the program update should it reset and be ok?
would the new battery fix the problem or is the problem still happening?
also, if the battery drops low enough to cause the "new" upgrade to fail then what prevents this...
so i have a 2023 BS BL and i am a bit hesitant to get this recall done now....hearing all the issues people are having. is the issues just with the older broncos? (2021-22) or is this across the board.
i dont want to be stranded and have all these issues with an upgrade....
any recommendations...
blueoval,
i have the BSBL and just got 30mpg on the highway and with my average around town it will be about 26mpg when i fill up. i think it depends on your drive style and if you have elevation changes to your roadways... (i.e. hills). for me it sounds like im getting the same mpg as you...
quick general question...
i was thinking of getting a full size wheel/tire for my spare in case something happens....which would require me to buy the TPMS also.... and was recommended that i rotate that tire every time i rotate all 4 tires. any thoughts to this? was thinking of doing this for...
the last one was all 3 before i sold the 2015. still have the other 2.... although i need to replace the ignition switch in the 66 since its not running.
and the BSBL too! cant forget that one.
at this point i will not buy a "new" mustang with the TV screen on the dash. i would consider...
yes i still have it....not many miles on it... under 6,000. i sold my2015 back last summer and the guy totaled it month after he had it. unfortunate.
i want to drive but the kids take most of my time....i usually dont drive it in rain, and seems its been raining every other day here......also...
i was looking to buy a full size as a 3rd vehicle, but price was higher than we wanted to pay. these added goodies, and possible refresh for 2025 could steer me toward another BSBL....
wait and see. if somehow we can manage to afford the full size that is what i will go with. 2dr of course...
i bought it because it looked like my old 2010 escape (boxy) and it was the right size for my needs.
we don't "hate" the new escape but if it was our only choice then we would buy that or another Edge....or maybe a full size Bronco, but i wanted something that met the needs as a whole.
2024...
blueoval,
you are correct. i had the 3.6 on my mind... i guess wishful thinking! that would be awesome!
2.7L TT.
the ST is a nice vehicle. room enough in the back for our vacation trips, and the power. the AWD is nice too in winter but i found that driving both ST and BSBL no comparison...
yes i did get my answer....you are correct. (if there was no $ issue i would probably have 7 mustangs, 2 Broncos, and maybe either F150 raptor or the Ranger Raptor) but i will keep dreaming....
i still have the "car" bug...but mustangs for wife are not "practical" so "truck" would work...in...
ok so im going rouge on this here....
trade for a big bronco probably not. the BSBL fits my needs perfectly. well balanced.
i WOULD like to have big bronco for 3rd vehicle though....which brings me to my question...
i presented this to the wife and here was the responses...
Me: new big...
