I bought it for convenience and size. It is rechargeable and can fit in the glove box or in the spare well with my other stuff. Puts out a decent amount of pressure and reading is easy to see and understand. Pricey compared to some, but I like how the hose is self contained in the body, until you need it. Doesn’t get caught on anything. It’s also heavy enough to be used in self defense. A brick in the hand, so to speak.
Nice. Will have to pick one up.

I already own several pumps so I never bought one, but I saw a few people say this one fits right in to the foam tray at the upper right compartment and under the cargo floor. It's sold under several "brand" names including "Audew".

2022 Badlands here... I have a small 12 volt Bonaire tire pump (see below) that I've had for several years. (Home Dept around $39) It's fed by a long cable that plugs into a 12 volt outlet. I have no idea what it's output is, but it's not much. Of course in my Badlands, I have both 12V and A/C outlets in the rear. I will certainly never have giant 33, 35 or 37 inch tires, so I do not need a monster air pump but would like one with a little more power, but still reasonably compact. Any suggestions?

Check out the Ontel Air Hawk Pro cordless tire inflator on Amazon. I'm very pleased with it.

Dont get a 12v accessory plug one. They'll work in a pinch, bout it. This is what I have. https://www.amazon.com/SuperFlow-Premium-Compressor-Larger-Tractors/dp/B07X3QC5DG/ref=asc_df_B07X3QC5DG/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=416650478316&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7587880215680359123&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001710&hvtargid=pla-869259546467&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=93124985039&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=416650478316&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7587880215680359123&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001710&hvtargid=pla-869259546467
Was a lot cheaper when I bought it. But have been using it for over 6 years and works awesome. Is all metal and beefy. Was hardwired into the rear of my Jeep for air. It's gotten a lot of use. Either way get a good little compressor and a good separate air gauge. They will pay for themselves

Milwaukee M12 compressor, tiny and powerful. Set your psi on the screen and it inflates to that pressure!

I have this Milwaukee air pump and love it (only had it a year so far ). Uses M12 battery. Filled all 4 tires several times over the past year and still on full charge. I take it on EVERY trip along with my travel pack ( road flares, tire plug kit, battery jump start and a 6 ton 12v hydraulic jack , 4 way and jack stand) .

I second this.

Viair compressors are popular with serious off-roaders.

There are several different models. We have the 88 (IIRC). I think it was about $70 on Amazon (may be more now). I've used it a few times and it works very well. The hose is very long -- no problem reaching all 4 tires (or 6 in the case of our Sprinter-based View RV). The pressure gauge is accurate (within about 1 psi of my other gauges).

As someone mentioned -- very few of these have a 100% duty cycle. The 88 is:

"Duty Cycle: 25 min. @ 30 PSI". See link above.

Many portable compressors are not well made. Viair has a good rep.

I have a Viair and love it. It is fast and powerful enough to fill my truck tires to 80 psi.

it pays to have your engine running while using the compressor. It keeps the voltage up in your battery. Low voltage will cause high heat in your compressor. I've melted a couple of small compressors. The run out of duty cycle before they fill your tire.

I have a Fanttik X8 Apex Tire Inflator... Fanttik is a new a new company (China), But their stuff seems high quality and has good reviews. I don't off-road, so I only need this for tire pressure maintenance or emergencies. It does seem to inflate faster than others I've had. I also have The Fanttik T8 Apex Jump Starter... They both fit nicely in the spare storage area.

Nice!

You could use it to make extra cash -- offer to inflate obviously low tires for a modest fee. ?
This thing fills a tire so fast that I'll have to charge by the pound and not by the minute!

I’m new to the whole off-road game, but these are the two tire pressure accoutrements I went for. The compressor is FAST. 10LBS in seconds. No joke.

Smittybilt 2781 5.65 CFM Universal Air Compressor , Black https://a.co/d/glu0e3E

Boulder Tools Tire Deflators and 80 PSI Tire Pressure Gauge - Adjustable, Automatic for car, Truck, Motorcycle https://a.co/d/hdO4L7F

Also got the ARB flat fix kit. But those should be in any car.
