That’s exactly why I went with a BTO. I knew there wouldn’t be any matching my preferred spec anywhere. Sure it was a seven month wait, but I got what wanted in the end.I watched part of the video. On one part, I like them removing things from the packages and allowing us to add them on ourselves.
The problem is, a lot of us just go to a dealership or search local dealerships and have to settle for what the have on hand. So for me, I've been itching for a Big Bend with Convenience, Black Diamond, that shelf in the back, and maybe a moonroof. But I can't even find one nearby with Convenience and BD. Now If I'd be looking for one with the 400w outlet, it'll be even harder to find.
I guess that's one thing I liked about Honda. If I'm looking for an Accord, I have the choice of VP, SE, EX, EX-L, V6 EX, or V6 EX-L (or something like that). Anything extra doesn't have to be added at the factory. It probably cuts down on manufacturing costs.
That's probably what I'll do on my next go around... if I have the time. That’s exactly why I went with a BTO. I knew there wouldn’t be any matching my preferred spec anywhere. Sure it was a seven month wait, but I got what wanted in the end.
For me, that’s the only way I can get a Ford anymore. Honda’s, my wife just goes and buys the EX-L and adds a few dealer installed options. That’s exactly why I went with a BTO.
