While I was waiting for some other customer to get out of finance, I told some sales guy I should’ve asked for free mats or something. He said there’s not much profit on them so not much wiggle room but he said I can get a free cap.

I did find out later I get 2 free oil changes. I don’t remember anyone mentioning it that night but my sales guy said I’ll get them. Hopefully they remember that in a few months.
When I bought mine I received 42,000 points on my Ford Pass. Hopefully I can get a free oil change with them.

I've been able to get 3 oil changes with my FordPass Rewards points. The 42k points essentially convert to $210.

I was given 4 free oil changes. Must be up to the dealer for that. And yes (woo hoo), I got a free cap.

Still like the BS though, which is what I was after anyhow.

Recovery gear is on and around the spare. First Aid kit; such as it is, is stuffed in the passenger side rear space in the back. Fire extinguisher is in the glove box.

If you turn your spare tire over (I think I had to get a new nut or bolt) and take out the silly foam spacers, there is a lot of room. I have tow strap, flares, Hi-Lift jack (shortened and taken apart), axe, rags, rope, Army shovel, tool kit, and a few other things I can't think of at the moment.

What are the foam spacers for? Don't they help support the cover?

I've got a little rectangular one that I thought would fit in the underseat storage but it was too big. I just chucked it in a corner of the cargo area because I'm not quite sure what to do with it. It's currently holding my sunshade against the right side wall.

I think I saw another post where they were pulled out. They said they do not support anything.

I kind of feel Ford was planning on selling some accessories to go in them and canceled that. Or at the least, they planned them out for some items like a breaker bar, warning triangle, things like that.

I'm sure the foam doesn't support the cover. i've had some heavy loads on mine with no sag. I cut up a blue backpacking pad to make sure things didn't rattle.

When I worked for the Forest Service we had a truck burn up because the driver put road flares in the utility bed too close to the exhaust pipe. I put my road flares inside the tire.
