I went to the beach!

The sand was pretty solid except for a couple of loose patches. I went right through it. The Ranger (or F-150) behind me took a slight detour to stay on the packed part.

Painted by Paul Straus, been in the business for over 50 years. Charged me $80, gave him $100. Took him 20 minutes
Good move. Gotta take care of those specialty guys! Had a local brush put Cubbie Blue pinstripes on my daughters Escape. Followed your payment format almost to the letter! ??

Changed the oil and filter for it's 22.5k change. Full synthetic of course. I did notice some dried coolant residue off the bottom of the engine and some additional coolant spray residue on my underhood insulation blanket. I've figured I had a small leak from the waterpump for a long time now. I'll have to make an appointment at my dealer. First real problem. Cheers!

Two minor additions to get ready for a big group road trip. Added a three-point ceiling net for my Wife and my raincoats as well as quickly rigged some Quick-fist connectors to my roof rack to serve as fishing rod holders. The quick fist solution is working marvelously in testing and event at highway speeds the rods are secure and not banging against anything

I really have a problem with finger prints on my gas cap door every time I fill it up so this is my solution for that for under $30. If this stands up to Delta Sonic’s car wash for a month (I typically give Tilli a bath twice a week), I’ll be looking at Underground’s distressed flag for the quarter windows and their A,B and C pillar graphics in the spring

They are EGRs. If all was available were the "faux bolt" style, you can bet your first born I would have nut-certed the fenders/doors and....BOLTED them on!

A tip I mentioned in a post elsewhere, purchase some 1/2'" 3M tape (PN 03614C), apply it to the flare where it meets the fender lip. This cements the bad boy in place for one, adds a little thickness so the clips provided bite a bit better (there are countless posts about our Sportie brothers and sisters complaining that they lost a few). I also added a few #8/1 black stainless self tappers for good measure.

Where they goin??? They goin NOWHERE!

Hell yeah. How do you find beaches that are vehicle accessible without breaking rules?
I went to Padre Island National Seashore.

There were Altimas and Civics on the beach. I bought an annual pass so they better not give me any hassle.

Now that forum members are getting some Bronco Sports to own and love, I thought it would be cool to begin a thread that is often found on other enthusiast boards.

Got your hands a bit dirty working on your Little Bronco recently? Dressed it up? Did a detail? Or how about a mod? Give us a quick post, show us some pics. Share what you are doing to make your Sport uniquely yours.

I’ll kick off with a few items myself to get things started and hopefully we can keep the thread going.
Installed a phone mount. Kinda sketchy removing the whole shebang, was a bit nervous as I don’t have a great history with plastic clips. Whole deal took me less than 15 minutes and most of that was looking for my trim tools

I installed a Curt hitch, took it for a teat drive after the install and there was an almighty speed sensitive screech, checked and double checked everything was tight, but still had this darn screech, I realized I didn't cut quite enough from the top of the plastic and it was rubbing on the hitch, managed to take off another couple of millimeters with a dremmel took it for another teat drive and thankfully the squeal had gone. Took about 3 hours to complete the install with figuring out the squeal issue and dremeling off a bit more plastic.
