Had some time today and rain stopped. Had my stock Big Bend since September but was rounding up all those parts. Keep them all in a pile. Wife thought I'm nuts. Added hood insulator, hood left and right seals, under dash pasenger panel, the elusive engine cover (sorry), tow eye, bought the Ford big soft sided cargo holder, grabbed a HBF tools folding shovel, HBF lithium jumpstarter (always should have had one) and Xbull 'gen3' boards from that eplace just in case of nasty snow. Still thinking about those fender apron insulators! Received a Bronco sweatshirt as a gift from my son. Let it snow!

After going back and forth on deciding to get the cover, I caved and am happy about it. I got it with 10% off leaving it in the cart and getting an email with the discount.
The cover is a quality pretty heavy piece. Maybe a bit overpriced but solid as is the hardware. Plenty of air venting and it sits above the engine and not as confining as the OEM cover if one is worried about heat build up. It should keep the top of the engine and the components a bit cleaner. All in all, a nice mod.
The reps are great with any questions you have on the cover. The cover is also packed very well.

Installed a Pedal Commander... WHAT a difference!
Where is everyone mounting their units?
The app looks like it might need help and I don't want the unit to be sticking in front of my face, but accessible. Any recommendations for the BS? Planning on making the purchase this week since it's on sale. I already run my BadLands in Sport mode 100% of the time. Do I need to use the Sport mode on the BS AND the PC? The Sport mode does change the shift points (which I like) so it sounds like I need to use both.

Now that forum members are getting some Bronco Sports to own and love, I thought it would be cool to begin a thread that is often found on other enthusiast boards.

Got your hands a bit dirty working on your Little Bronco recently? Dressed it up? Did a detail? Or how about a mod? Give us a quick post, show us some pics. Share what you are doing to make your Sport uniquely yours.

I’ll kick off with a few items myself to get things started and hopefully we can keep the thread going.

I dont fiddle with the settings, just set it to "sport+4" and tucked it behind the center console

@Mighty3 can you please post a pic or a link to the HBF lithium jumpstarter? Thanks!

Here you go. I also bought a small hardcase for it. The case has pull out foam so you can customize it a bit. They only give you a thin sack to store the jumpstarter. I haven't used it yet but it charged up and is holding the charge for a few weeks now. Be careful...all these lithium jumpstarters have a lower than lead acid battery max temp to store it, so if it gets too hot in your car that's something to keep and eye on. I'm in NY so max heat isn't a common issue compared to other states.

Use their coupons and you can save some $$$.

My concern is the Bronco going into "limp mode" in case it senses the pressure too high. I don't want to be on a long road trip and something happen. I have a CAI and Borla exhaust.

Hi. Can you provide a link for the engine cover? Thx.
I ordered it in September from 'oemfordparts' and now I checked. Its discontinued. Much has been discussed on this forum about the elusive 1.5 engine cover. Hard or impossible to find. Sorry. It's a big contoured piece of foam rubber. JCR offroad has a cool looking metal one. I added the link. They have them for the 1.5 and the 2.0. Search the forum it ws mentioned also. Kind of expensive. The Ford rubber one was about $60 in September. The one I got looked like it may have been a return but its going under the hood anyway. It was Ok by me. (I have to post up some pictures of my BS BB sport. Its the hot pepper red color).
