Wow! where has this been for the last 7 months! Someone from Ford trying to actually help? I nearly fell out of my chair
No one is helping my In Production since June 15 but Ford has no problem building shipping complete units in July.

Ford doesn't care that your still waiting. we all drank the koolaid about the new Bronco. Some have moved on and some will stay waiting for there vehicle. I moved on but my Husband is still waiting on the Badlands we ordered. If there is still no movement shortly, He too will move on to another brand. Having owned Ford's since 1988, we were loyal to the brand. But it seems the Ford motor company is now more concern with the introduction of new model's than trying to complete what other's have ordered in good faith.

My car has been built (today) and on the Ford order tracker site it says 'Select the "Learn about your vehicle " link for videos and info' ... but I can't find that link. Anyone else know where to locate that? Thanks a bunch

It's wild to me that I would be potentially closer to getting my BS had I ordered later than I did. Never would I ever have thought that I ordered something too early!

Well, given everything going on lately it wouldn't be the craziest thing to happen.

My BS has been “in transit” since 7/29. Bottom window sticker date just changed to 8/4. What does this date change mean?

Not directed AT you, general statement you can catch more flies with honey instead of vinegar. Any of you with issues, use the opportunity to express concerns. Dumping anger in a direct message will go nowhere. Rational wins the day. Ten people saying they are getting no answers and watching newer builds bypass their unit waiting on chips instead of "screw Ford you did this on purpose and just don't care.". Just my two cents. Time and place for everything

That advice is more than just two cents worth, yes Ford needs to be more transparent with the order priority and build process. The people with long standing orders need to be told just what is holding up their delivery and why they are being bypassed by more recent orders. I can fully understand the frustration of having a BS sitting in the desert jail for months while others get a get out of jail free card. An online rant or poison pen email isn't going to help your case. This is the first time in 50+ years of buying cars I have had to order one, I've always been able to go to a high volume dealer and say I want that one over there, but times sure have changed.

New guy here... hello all.

I am also stuck in purgatory. Order date 1/22, in production since 6/18.... That date at the bottom of the window sticker changed at least 5 times, if not more. Seriously considering just cancelling and ordering a MY22 since I've waited this long...

We are considering cancelling too but instead of ordering a 22 model we are considering giving another company our business. Not sure yet who that would be but the way Ford is handling things is putting a sour taste in our mouth. If Ford could just respect their customers enough to communicate with them we would have a whole different opinion. I would NEVER leave a customer of mine hanging like this. Communication is so important and goes a long way towards making a relationship work.

From where I sit this is one colossal PR blunder.

It's cool that Ford sends the status message when you order the car, and along the way. It is also great that their trackers are public, and can be accessed. The real issue isn't that some cars wait longer than others. The issue is that they offer all these trackers, but the whole system is meaningless because the data is so inaccurate and random.

As purchasers we all need to take a breath, and understand that the actual delays are mostly a function of covid fallout. There are many, many factors beyond anyone's control. But, Ford is bring this on themselves by making is a classic political mistake. When you have an issue, people are much more forgiving when they know the full truth, and know it as soon as they can.

Ford could turn this around with a few easy measures.

1. Go public with exactly what parts or issues are slowing some cars. - If those people waiting for 5 months to get their cars knew they were waiting for -- an engine, sunroof, chip, or whatever --. Like it or not, we'd be more satisfied with the truth. Some might move on, some would wait. I'm guessing more people would wait if they knew the truth than will with Ford's non-information campaign.

2. Don't put out inaccurate info or guesses. The whole blanket 10/30 or 11/3 date thing is just dumb. IT means they don't know. That is a date that will never happen. It might be earlier, it might be later, it would be better to just say "the delivery date cannot be determined at this time."

3. Don't let leaks and speculation from various websites become the conventional wisdom. Get ahead of them and tell the truth.

4. If you don't know if you can deliver a car withing about 4 months, DON'T TAKE Orders. I'm guessing someone in the financial wing is using all those orders to tell a board of directors or investors that they have all these future sales on the books. It's bad because they are creating ill will, undermining any future trust in an ordering system, and lastly deluding themselves about their actual future sales. By the time they build all those cars (and Trucks) many buyers will have already purchased something else. The Bronco Sport won't be the hot car forever. The alternative is to announce that orders can be taken but the cars will not be delivered for XX months.

Sorry about the rant, but after a lifetime in marketing, it's killing me to see Ford botch this so completely.
