In production since 6/7, but the estimated delivery date has remained 7/14. The window sticker date did change yesterday from 6/10 to 6/17 so something happened. The etis link had a lot listed when I checked the pti info.

I just read my daily "Ford Authority News". It said that Ford only sold 280 Bronco Sports in May. They'll never get caught up at that pace.

I’m seeing people that ordered the BL 6 weeks after me and equipped the same way getting theirs built before mine is even built. This drives me nuts realizing the FMC could care less about my order. I’ve told so many friends and relatives about this and they also talk about steering clear of Ford.
Probably the priority code and volume of your dealer...that or they just don't like Ohio? I get the anger...frustration. Vent away, the best quote of my academic career spanning a few decades...'life is difficult'. Good luck with your alternate purchase. It's unfortunate the Bronco Sport caused you this much frustration. LIfe is too short to fret over a car.

My weekly call to Ford Marketing is another milestone in Ford's efforts to "P***" me off.
My Cyber Orange BL/BL order w/ 360+, tow, Falken tires was accepted 3/18/2021.
It has now been rescheduled for production 16 August 2021.

Someone at Ford better be planning on a miracle if they hope to transition to model year 2022 plus making the new "Maverick" pickup in the same plant and using the same 2.0 engine in some models.

That was the total number sold in Mexico.

Ford has been fumbling new model year new vehicle orders long before Bronco Sport and long before COVID. I was on the Mustang forums years ago when the 2011 5.0 Mustang was brought back. Same thing we are seeing here. Delays, Ford holding units at plant with no explanation, many orders constantly getting pushed, a lot of ppl ended up with a 2012, numerous quality control issues etc. Exactly the same pattern we are seeing with the Bronco Sport rollout. None of this is new to Ford vehicle ordering process. COVID, chip shortage, labor shortage, and high demand are making it worse. But even if those conditions were not there it would still be a lot of fumbling going on.....

I ran across this on a fleet buyers website , I found it interesting that it shows the date that Ford is supposed to open the order book for the 22 BS model year and also the last order date for the 21 model year. Not sure how old this is.
Looks official to me. So end of August ppl can order a '22 and November the '22 production starts. So sometime in '22 the units will start showing up at dealers. I think Ford is going to be hit with a tidal wave of Bandlands orders.

and I said that all in good fun...but based on those having the most ordering wait and issues...I'm kinda questioning it a little to be honest. Just the members here, many are ordering in Ohio. Guess I am happy I drove to Ann Arbor for mine :)
The Region the dealer is located in and the dealers rating within that region is going to affect how Ford prioritize those orders. Not fare to the customer but that is how it works.

That article for vehicles that were actually sold in Mexico, not units sold in the US.

100% agree, on fairness and how it's done. The guy in Rochester told me right from day 1, he is in a high volume dealership with blue oval ratings and in the Detroit circle of priority. He guaranteed I'd get built. He was right. Took a couple weeks longer than anticipated, but it was pushed and built. Compared to some being shoved to October which is also what he added regarding any new orders after the April cutoff...he said October. He knew a lot more than I originally gave credit for.

If this is true than I guess I’m better off buying a Jeep Wrangler. Built in Ohio.
Maybe Ford is just as screwed up as their Governor in Michigan.

Ford told me a few minutes ago it is built but waiting on a chip. Not sure what kind Reg or BBQ but it is sitting at the plant. no time frame of when it will be done.
