If my shipped status is checked on the Ford tracker and it says the dealership is making final preps does that mean it is at the dealership?

You can't do anything with the module data. It just means that you BS has been powered up and the electronic modules are reporting information. Basically, your BS is either at or near the end of the production line.

Argh, the ordertracker app and the Canadian Ford site says my badlands has been delivered. The US tracker says it's been shipped. My sales guy yesterday said it wasn't there. Just don't know who to believe! Does the ordertracker use the Canadian site by chance?

Alas, I wait... And go on vacation for 2 weeks tomorrow so at least 2 more weeks of waiting.

SO i have this giant list with 3 columns "modules" (blank) , Addresses (which has" 7b1-01-01", and climbing) and lastly "instructions" which has either a 4 digit code (example "00A8") is blank.

what am i looking at?

I don't know that anyone has deciphered what the module information means, other than just know that the modules are reporting, which means your BS is alive and nearing the end of production.

I sure hope they are protecting the vehicles well from all the rail dust for these generally long treks the trains take because you can end up with a clear coat full of rust colored metal specs if not. Obviously not noticeable or as noticeable on a dark colored car depending on the color, but they will be there regardless if they didn't plastic wrap all the essential panels for transit, especially the horizontal surfaces. Just a heads up that everyone should check their paint for smoothness and these specs at time of delivery. I'm hoping they are using more so the fully enclosed auto carriers but have seen it a lot on Ford vehicles in the past that even on my personal vehicles I've had to gently clay bar out of the clearcoat. The dealers will frequently miss it (or ignore it) if their dealer prep and detailing is fairly basic and superficial.

Since I've heard some cars are being delivered 7-10 days earlier than the Ford estimate, I decided to take a pro active approach to any possible problems at the delivery that Ford estimates to be 7/22-7/28.

I ordered online through Ford of Horsham, in Pa and I'm in Va. I sent my sales rep an email, in regards to the $1000 order incentive that was in place in January (which they claimed to know nothing about at the time of order) and asked for a rail car number. Me, after a few hours and not necessarily wanting to wait days to hear back, decided to try Ford Chat. They referred me to Ford Marketing about the incentive and I was given a sales incentive certificate number, though they couldn't tell me how much it was for or exactly how it was to be used. I found that odd. As to the Rail car number, Chat told me the car had arrived in Burnham, Illinois and was in the Norfolk Southern Corp yard but that it wouldn't be much use, as it was off the rail car!?

Can anyone imagine it being moved from one rail car to another? I don't think so.
Can anyone imagine it being trucked from Illinois to Eastern Pa.? I can't.
