Portland ETA is tomorrow night, 11:29PM, which seems a little too precise. From there it's 4ish hours up I-5 to the dealership, once it's on a truck, which I understand is the biggest part of the problem right now.
I see. I was thinking you would have it next week. Lol

It's theoretically possible if the timing is right and a truck is set up to run next week.

It’s probably been discussed before but why do they give these dates that they can’t even keep?
*wakes up*
*blinks slowly*

Still two weeks to my production week?

*goes back to sleep*
have any been built the last couple weeks?

mine was pushed to 2 weeks out and I’m wary of that happening.

My original scheduled build week was June 6, so this week. That was set on March 31st. Between then and now my week went to May 30, back to June 6, then June 13, and then finally to June 20. The June 20 communication came May 12.
In the end it is what it is, I’m just tired of waiting. My order was placed November 12 and at this rate I may not actually get it before 2023 orders open. ?

I got the confirmation email the May 28th when I ordered it, nothing since although it has only been two weeks. Thanks
I think what Meaderthal is saying "grab a box of snicker bars, it's going to be a while" :)

I watched part of the Long MacArthur's video this week. Tim said Bronco Sport does not have any constraints now. I think that means there is no short of parts on any specific items.

So for your order, it will all depends on how many people has ordered certain cars ahead of you and your dealer's allocation. I think scheduling is out to early July now and there is a shutdown of the factory in mid July. so maybe you will be lucky to be scheduled into August build week and receiving the car by Sept/Oct time frame. that may be the soonest possible.....

I just received a phone call from my salesman about my BS Badlands order. Drop off is tonight for pick-up in the AM. Has anyone received a higher purchase amount that when it was built? My build was sub-$40K and my purchase price is now $40,033. My cousin provided his discount through Ford, which is included. My sticker price is $41K, but it doesn't jive with the original build price.

How is this possible? Lucky me, I can't find my original build print-out. Any help would be appreciated, I'm supposed to be there at 10:30 AM EST.

I have been digging around for some current estimates on wait times for orders placed at end of May 2022 for OB with tow package. So much to learn and dig through so I thought I would ask. I didn't want a lot of extras and didn't have to pay the upcharges on orders so I went that route. Wasn't in a big hurry only to hopefully have it delivered before snow flies again in the north east. Any guess as to when I should expect more information from Ford? I got the confirmation email the May 28th when I ordered it, nothing since although it has only been two weeks. Thanks
I ordered on 4/4. Received confirmation from Ford of the order on 4/5. Nothing since. I’ve contacted my salesman twice (roughly every 4 weeks) and know that I’m next in line for dealerships allocation - priority code 2.
I highly recommend sit back and being patient. It’s gonna be awhile right now. ?

You should be price protected to whatever the original amount was. Some people run into trouble getting dealer to honor it, others no problems. My wife had no problems with price protection and also got the 1k off deal for vehicles ordered. I want to say that 1k off was offered around April and expires July... something.

My window sticker showed $5K higher than the build sheet. Without hesitation my sales guy said I was price protected & locked in to the price at time of order. Will that mean I can only do MSRP & he doesn’t have to honor the x plan price I would’ve got then? Bit to be determined yet, but a bargain nowadays even at MSRP then. You are price protected from Ford for sure to the price at time of order, shouldn’t need the original build sheet, but I hope your dealer doesn’t try to mess around any.

I appreciate the info. My cousin is the finance manager and I don't feel he would screw me over. The problem I have is with the "rough" numbers without seeing actual paperwork yet. I'm very much a visual person, so I'll let y'all know what happens tomorrow. Frankly, I don't like being jerked around. I love the "warm and fuzzy" feeling I normally get when purchasing a new car, I haven't felt it this whole time since ordering. Just distain for Ford's process and my salesman/dealership's lack of responsiveness. The whole goal here was to be out the door at $40k or less. Now with tax, I'm well over. disappointing.
